Eight froze. Wait... read her mind?? The octocat's thoughts subconsciously flashed through various torturous tests she was put through to be deemed 'worthy' of the Promised Land. She could hear the screams of her brothers and sisters around her as her eyes grew hazy. All she could smell was rotten blood and tears around her. The floor was always slick and slippery. The train carried each tired, destroyed soul from station to station. The bomb on her back exploded again and again without mercy.

You broke a box, test failed. You stepped in enemy ink, test failed. You ran out of time, test failed.

She was sick and tired of failing.

Eight simply turned up to Iota, tense. She gently shook her head. Whatever the cat went through, she obviously didn't want to speak about it, even if she wanted to. Some things were better left forgotten. Some things were best left burried in the ground.

//you can decide if iota got a glimpse of Eight's thoughts c:

Luckily the others were there. The bear dog gave a small growl, then retreated, stepping back.
