Well, there was her chance, she supposed. Gordon looked up when Bastille spoke about the water and blinked up at him. "Ah, could-could I have some help, too, m-maybe?" She squeaked out. "I-I just don't want to drown or-or something." She didn't know how deep the pool was in the first place and honestly, that was kinda nerve-wracking.

I panted, placing a paw on my chest. I slowly shook my head, clearing my thoughts. I... was fine. I was on land. I wasn't going to go under. I'm fine. My screen showed static as I scanned the worried faces around me. I slowly sat up, whining under my breath. The static cleared, showing a small thumbs up. I'm fine. I clarified, J-just... A little shaken.

I turned back to the rippling surface. I could feel the shocks just thinking about it. The current that made my toes and spine turn and twist under my own skin. I could feel the snap and pull of electrons flowing through my every core and atom. I chuckled nervously at the thought. W-water doens't agree well with electronics... I explained, turning up to Margaery. I-I'd appreciate the help... If you're willing, miss...

It's a good idea to leave your troubles— Dale Cooper had hung back as the others went into the pool, sitting back and observing for a moment. "Diane, I'm currently sitting near a pool that it said to have been formed by a meteor. They wish for me to enter the pool and get a shard but it seems other's are struggling to do so," Dale spoke quietly, as if he didn't want anyone to overhear his one-sided conversation. "Perhaps my larger form could be of use to help my smaller peers," he finished, standing now and heading for the pool.

He moved to stand beside Gordon, remembering her from when he first joined. "I could attempt to help you, Gordon?" offered the canine kindly, looking down at the feline. "It wouldn't bode well with me if I just stood by and let something happen that I could have helped." he explained, hoping she didnt find his offer offensive. —at home when operating a vehicle.

Gordon jumped a bit as Dale approached her, but soon realized as she realized the canine didn't mean any harm. "Th-that'd be great." She squeaked out in reply. "Th-thanks!" She truly was grateful. It wasn't a fear of water itself per say that made her not want to go into the pool, but rather a fear of drowning. She could swim, of course, she just wasn't a very good swimmer. And not being able to touch the bottom was quite an issue for her as well.
