Before the creature could respond to anything a zap of electricity raced through his veins, causing him to pause for a moment. After minutes that felt painfully like hours the black that covered his eyes washed away, returning the soft peach that was once there. Legs shook as Icarus stood there, mind trying to piece itself back together and the memories of the events that had just unfolded came crashing back to him.

“Kold..?” He called out softly with confusion lacing the words. A sudden cough forced itself out and the rest of the black substance that had originally fell from his muzzle landed on the ground. Tears pricked the corner of his eyes and fell down his cheeks.
