After Joel was relatively dry, Radeken slathered his more prominent injuries with a murky green paste before dabbing it onto the less troubling ones. “[color=black]Um...He’ll need something stronger than webs to hold the splint in place. Vines or long grass, maybe.” She told those offering help. Well, depending on the grass... Point was, it wasn’t going to hold if all she used was cobwebs, and that’s all she had on hand at the moment. They went over the herbal sludge she had pressed into Joel’s cuts and burns to keep it from being rubbed off.

[color=black]I’m Radeken. What were you doing before you landed in the Starpool?” Radeken asked. It was good he remembered his name, at least. Or, might have, anyway.

AND I'M JUST A DEAD MAN WALKING TONIGHT
There was a pretty fucking hefty crowd circling the newcomer, and Bastille took care to stay the fuck out of the way, a few paces back from the thick of it. He had absolutely no need to crowd the guy when there were two medics on the scene -- good, Rad was around too -- and besides, he also had no need to be in close proximity of Suiteheart, Margaery, or Hazel. It seemed like there were more than enough people to help, and he simply watched, deciding he could meet this guy later, when there weren't a bunch of people talking at him while he was in pain.

[div style="text-align: justify;"]As he laid there, allowing the various animals helping treat him to do whatever they need to, he tried not to make a fuss, but it was hard not to keep himself from flinching due to the stinging of the herbs on his wounds. Then, as Radeken addressed him, he would turn his head weakly, blue eyes shifting to gaze at the other canine. "T-To be honest with you... I don't remember... I just know... there was a crash and I... fell... I don't know..." Joel would mumble, placing the paw that was broken to his forehead as he felt a sharp pain. It bothered him that he didn't know why he had lost control in the air and fell, but more importantly, it bothered him that he didn't know what happened to the satellite he had been trapped on for the past several months. Why had it crashed? Was it... something he did? Shutting his eyes tightly, he failed to organize the jumble of thoughts currently in his brain, feeling himself starting to fall over the edge of unconscious again. Instead of allowing himself to pass out again, however, he fought it, resorting to looking over the various faces in the crowd around him. So... this was... The Ascendants, huh? What a weird name for a group...
