[uuuh it's 2:15 in the morning so im not proofreading wheeze]

"'My life.'" Her she was, echoing her wife again. "Mea vita." Her pronunciation was a bit off, but she had tried. She quickly filed the words away, holding onto them close. Those words had hit a cord within her, and she fell in love with them the moment Margaery spoke them. They had been so soft, so kind. It made her heart swell and burst.

She matched Margy's grin as the other stood back, finally allowing Suite to stand once more. She did stand at the chocolate point's side, close enough to just barely touch. Upon receiving the other's thought, she would respond with, 'Me too. She's good though. She's doing really well actually.' Her final thought was quickly added as she took note of the Starstruck Guardian's sadness. No, there did not need to be any of that here today. Not anymore than was already present, that was.

She laughed at Rosegarden's words. "Hey, you're okay. 'm just teasing you." The russet feline, she knew, had only really been frightened upon first meeting her. Suite's then intimidating stature always surprised everyone at the beginning. It was something she had been at odds with for a long time, but now, that task seemed easy.

She opened her mouth to say more, but her eyes caught the look Rose threw at Bastille. A tight frown formed on her lips. It was in this moment that she desperately wished she had telepathy so she could explain the situation. Rosegarden had the right to be confused and possibly angry, yes, but it was only because she did not know the full extent of the situation. Suite expected nothing less from the grieving boy turned leader. He had too much weight on his shoulders to carefully plan his every little expression. So, instead, she simply shook her head minutely. "Thanks, girlie," she did say, presenting a smile to Rosegarden.

Bast's icy cerulean eyes caught her easily. Some odd emotion was concealed within them, but she could not quite make it out. She believed it to be some strange mix of bittersweetness and confusion. Whatever it was, she could liken his expression with that of seeing a ghost. A quizzical look surfaced on her own features, but she quickly dismissed it.

"I can't believe you're finally taller than me again," she sighed in amusement, attempting to defuse this whole horrible situation. She intertwined her tail with Margaery, a sign to let her wife know Bast did not hate her, before adding, [color=#73B1B7][b]"Damnit, I think you got taller too. I wish you and Haze couldn't waited a little bit. I feel so old. And tiny."

either xD

Darn it; this wasn't the impression she had wanted to make. Granted, the cat always tried to be honest and transparent about how she felt, but something like this? Her true feelings on the matter were completely irrelevant. She hadn't meant to judge him or anything-- she had simply felt slightly frustrated when she saw everyone's mood change in the blink of an eye for the worse.
Having and seeing everyone be happy... That was probably one of the most ambitious goals to make.
Anyway, it wasn't like she didn't want Bast around at all. Her only problem had been the way he had entered with a dark stare, not even welcoming back the individual being celebrated.
She really didn't have a right to judge though... The awkwardness that she had contributed to... Rosegarden already felt guilty about her thoughts, adding to the guilt train of everyone present, but it was just a thought! She wasn't going to act on it; in fact, she'd chase that thought away right now!
This was a happy meeting! This was supposed to be a happy gathering!
Maybe she should find the time to apologize to Bast later. He was in mourning and he already had a lot of things on his plate; he certainly didn't need her guilt-tripping him (which she honestly hadn't meant to do!).
Yeah. Even if he didn't want her apology, she should still let him know she was on his side... (Even though something like that should be a given...)
Darn it. If only she wasn't so obvious with everything she did... Maybe she could benefit from a little more secrecy and prudence. That didn't mean she wanted to continue judging Bast except this time without his knowledge-- that just meant she wanted to keep any possible negativity to herself.
Everyone has negative thoughts sometimes, but not everyone acts on them. That was along the lines of what Rosegarden was aiming for: maybe she would have the occasional negative thought surface (and that was normal, as she couldn't control every thought), but if she was less obvious, she would be able to chase away that thought without anyone ever knowing it had come up.
Jeez, this was all getting a little too complicated for her. Not because she couldn't understand it, but because she wanted to stop thinking about it lest she just sit there and space out the entire time.
She had played a role in escalating the awkwardness, so she should help defuse it...
  "I think you look great!"
She couldn't think of anything else to say-- not that she didn't mean it, though --so that was the best she could do right now.
Hopefully her efforts to make up for her error would be appreciated or at least acknowledged. As long as they (she) hopefully stopped lingering on this...
Unable to resist, she shot Bast an apologetic look. No, he shouldn't feel guilty about...how others felt. How others felt was up to them, and he hadn't really done anything wrong. Others-- especially she --had just...misinterpreted him, is all.
Gosh, she just wanted to be on good terms with everybody. If it was tense between them now, then she wanted to fix that immediately. They didn't have to be friends, but she at least wanted to return to neutral standing-- to not be an enemy.
Especially now, Rosegarden was feeling the awkwardness, so she quickly tore her gaze away rather shamefully. It didn't matter if he hadn't seen her look; a look alone probably wouldn't completely clear things up, so she was probably-- definitely --going to seek him out later.
This was her fault too, and she knew that.
She would deal with that...later, though.
  Right. Stop thinking about it.
Flicking her striped tail, she would look intently at an interesting stone nearby.
It had a nice texture, that stone.
