Re: a wandering soul ;; joiner? - ninazu - 03-28-2022 BURN

The slender wildcat stepped closer, eying the raw paw pad with an empathetic grimace. “Thankfully not serious. But that doesn’t mean it’s not painful.” Ninazu straightened up and nodded at Laertes. “The offer to carry her still stands? She shouldn’t be walking long distances, not for a few days.” © MADI
Re: a wandering soul ;; joiner? - LAERTES - 03-29-2022 [align=center] At the question of wether or not he would carry Zuriela Laertes nodded speaking "Of course. Let me just pick you up, hon" the endearment was something his parents ha called him. At the foxes approval the lion gently picked her up in his maw and placed her on his back, in between his folded wings. After confirming that she wouldn't slide off Laertes turned his attention to Ninazu and gave her a grin "Thanks for your help, Ninazu. I'll take her back to camp. Guess I'll see you later." With that said and done Laertes began his walk back to camp, a new member in tow. He tried talking to her the whole way home, telling stories and doing his best to make the little one comfortable. All the while he wondered where she would stay. If anyone would take her in. And more and more it seemed to Laertes that he would like to be top-pick, if Zuriela consented. Maybe, just maybe he'd have a family again.
Re: a wandering soul ;; joiner? - Cobra - 03-29-2022 ZURIELA ✯ — MAYBE I'LL JUST SING ABOUT IT

as she was told that her paw injuries weren't serious, she felt her spirits rise a little. she wasn't going to need major treatments. a few days rest was just fine for her. she had no desire to do much of anything. "thank you mia'am.." soft voice offered as she looked up at the woman. it was good to show respect to her elders. or, that was what her mother used to say.
the pup didn't argue as she was lifted and placed on the larger back of laertes. she had no issue being carried. nor did she mind the stories as they headed home. she was enjoying having story time again. it was like having her mother back, but different. her mother always told scary stories, but these weren't like that. she liked this. space
