Re: I CAN MAKE YOU GO BLIND ☆ joining - PHANTOMKING. - 05-19-2021 It is good to see you once more, Phantomking. Win's words alone were enough to make Phamtom freeze, his panicking about his own undead appearance subsiding, at least for the moment. Winterhymns... knew him? So he was one of the Pendragons that Phantom had known? That the knight had served when he had been living in a form that wasn't undeath? Sure enough, the name that Win said next was far more familiar, and it caused the green feline to glance down in thought. Win had survived... and he had a new name. A new home. Hell, he was a he. Still, Phantomking had no issues with any of that. Rather, he was just relieved that someone he had once known was still around. That he had survived. With a little breathless laugh leaving him, Phantom found himself muttering, "Ah... it's good to see you again too, Winterhymns. I like the new name." Many questions lingered on the knight's mind – mainly about the kingdom and the rest of Win's family. There would be time for those later, however.
For now, Phantomking just felt... exhausted. The last few hours – or days? He wasn't sure – had been quite the ordeal, and he wanted nothing more than to close his eyes. Turning his dark gaze towards Drayden, he shot a grateful look in the boy's direction, silently thanking him for the offer of assistance staying upright. Then, he turned back to Win, stepping forward as he purred – albeit roughly, "Houses on the boardwalk, huh? That sounds great... I'd love to see, and find somewhere to rest my head." The thought of a warm bed sounded divine at the moment. At least, it was certainly better than the dirt nap he had last been "enjoying" for who knows how long. ☆ — just to find my heart is beating |
