Re: atonement - open; returning jor - ASMODEUS DI-ANGELO - 04-23-2021

"natus vincere" asmodeus ── gael himself approached, chiding him in a stern manner but with a hint of gentleness underneath it. that was surprising, he shot the ardent a slightly shocked look before returning his gaze to elsweyr's retreating form, fur still bristling as he listened to gael  finish his sentences. that did make sense, he supposed, so asmodeus nodded along, deep in thought. he wanted revenge
but now any revenge wouldn't do any good for both him and his father. so he shrugged, optics narrowed. "you could lose everything". reached his ears, and he turned to face gael. had he had personal experience? he didn't say anything, merely observed the male. "i will try, gael. i make no promises that i will not end up hurting myself or anything, but i will try."
dante then spoke up, offering him a way out after snuffing out a cigarette that caused the cub to wrinkle his nose. he shot the hybrid a confused  smile. what did he want to do, what had he planned? hydro arrived at the scene and ar really didn't want to deal with family aside from his father so he nodded, accepting dante's offer.

By God that had hurt. Even the strongest of warriors couldn't hold back the shouts, the screams of pain as fire  and fury tore and danced in his chest, leaving a mark. Wasn't a bad one either, looked kind of cool. Then she came, came at him full force, not even giving him a fighting chance. A clean blow to the head, muzzle hits the dirt and everything went black.

First thing that hit him was the familiar smell. Familiar voice. His blood on the floor, his  child-his children. Icy optics opened a crack as he felt a paw touch his gently, a concerned voice reaching his ears. Hydrostatic . His  child was calling his name. He heard Asmodeus' voice, then Dante's, then that of Elsweyr and Gael. Asmodeus called for revenge. Gael stopped him, Asmodeus apologised. Jormungand let something like a frown settle on his features before lying there a bit more, bleeding from multiple wounds and regaining strength. Eyes fully opened, he scanned the scene. Offered a crooked smile, a gaping hole still in his chest. "I'm back."
Something casual lingered in his tone, beneath teasing words. Those scars had changed him, opened something in him.

[align=center][div style="width: 60%;text-align: justify;font-size: 10pt;"]For someone who had stayed to herself for the most part the past few months, the different faces that were quickly there were overwhelming to the kitsune, especially when there were some that she didn't recognize. She knew that they had to be the children of the prisoner - they were the same species, not to mention they looked so alike and the way they talked cause her to come to the conclussion - but she was happy to see some of the familiar faces as well. All but one really, but as Dante paid no mind to Sweeney she would simply do the same to him, eyes rolling as he spoke, questioning Elsweyr with such an idiotic question. Dragging the Pittian back beaten up and bruised wasn't enough of an answer of what they were doing? She knew he was an idiot but she hadn't thought it was this bad.

Eyes turned over towards Aine as she soon came over, small smile on the Kitsune's face as she looked towards the other and nodded her head. "Yeah I'm fine for the most part, Moth took care of me." Before she went missing that was. Sweeney wasn't sure if Els wanted that out yet, that their head of medics had been captured and couldn't be found anywhere, so she kept her mouth shut, despite the fact that she wanted to help find her, considering Moth had treated her as her own while she had stayed in Tanglewood, had even let her stay in her house. The smell was likely evident considering the heavy scent of herbs that lie on Sweeney's coat for the time being. She hoped to get that taken care of soon.

Eventually others came up, and for the most part Sweeney chose to ignore them. She didn't really care about the children of the traitor, and the words that she would have said to them were much more harsh than that of what Gael had said, so Sweeney chose to simply keep quiet and not worry about them. She had her own stuff to worry about and making sure the children of a stupid man were okay were not one of them. Standing up to walk over the border, she would stop beside Gael looking over to him for a moment before reaching out to him with her mind in an attempt to speak to him and only him using telepathy. I was there, She would start, in reference to watching what had happened to Jor. She was there for the most part at least, for the end. Restraint was shown despite what it looks like. I would have killed him. And with that she would continue walking, heading towards her own home here in the Pitt. Jor was awake now, so there was no point in her staying to help to carry the traitor.

Re: atonement - open; returning jor - Atticus Roux - 04-24-2021

ATTICUS ROUX
For some time now, the trio (one unwilling) had been following Elsweyr's spark of flames to The Pitt. He had walked next to Sweeney's side for the entirety, often shooting glares towards Jormungand and grumbling underneath his breath. The wait was long. And once they reached the border, Atticus didn't care to stop and walked past with a sigh of relief. He turned on his feet towards the others and noticed their pause to the border, understanding that Elsweyr was not allowed in their home for a reason. Even so, Sweeney's patience at the scent border was in good faith. The wolf merely furrowed his brow. They were home. Could they ditch the politics and go off now?

His attention realigned out towards the horizon as Dante's conflicting tone graced his hearing, causing a disgruntled frown to appear on his maw. "Your head on a pike," he remarked back. Not willing to debate more, his gaze shifted to the rest of the crowd, more specifically on Gael and Aine as they arrived. Aine's comment was directed to Sweeney. Eyeing the medic, he offered a subtle smile towards her and nodded towards Gael and Jold in greeting. His gaze snapped back to Dante and Asmodeous temporarily, noticing his sly tone in regards to the child's so-called 'revenge.' "Dante, if I see you drugging that kid, my previous phrase will become reality."

With his general disdain out of the way, his eyes relocated over towards Sweeney. She was quiet. If he knew what she was saying, he could only agree. Puzzled, he watched as she wandered off. Atticus merely looked towards the crowd one last time and waved his tail in goodbye, only to leave with her moments later.

Re: atonement - open; returning jor - gael - 04-25-2021

[align=center]
| GAEL Ó BROIN
The vulpine inclined his head.  At least the boy acknowledged his words; a mark of thought.  He would keep an eye on him however.  Especially with Dante, although Gael suspected Atticus' expectations were too low.  The hybrid may act recklessly in anger at times, but the faerie truly doubted he would offer the child drugs.

Gael turned to Sweeny, allowing her telepathic words to reach him through his guarded mind, nodding slowly.  As far as he felt, Tanglewood had been more within their rights to be brutal, since Jormungand permanently maimed one of their own.  Death however, would push it farther than necessary -- he had not killed the Tangler, nor did the children deserve a dead father.

His sentence is not over yet, came his curt response.

"Jormungand," since the jaguar appeared awake, the Ardent regarded him coldly.  "You will be escorted to the White Temple."

"There you will be given minimal treatment to ensure your wounds do not grow infected." Gael hardly expected his daughter to waste more herbs than necessary on someone who betrayed them -- nor should she.  The faerie narrowed his eyes, disapproval in his gaze for Jormungand's casual tone.  Indeed, he deserved barely any care at all.
BUT I PROMISE YOU I'LL KEEP YOU SAFE   gael ó broin / faerie / ardent

Re: atonement - open; returning jor - DANTE NORTHWEST. - 04-25-2021

[glow=white,1,400]I NEED A SHOT AGAIN, THAT SWEET ADRENALINE !。+゚.[/glow]
Dante shouldn't have been angered by Atticus's statement, his gaze narrowing as he watched the wolf leave the scene. "I'm not drugging the kid." He replied, though said his words loudly, as if announcing it to the entire group that was gathered here. And he was; he wanted to make this clear. Not only was Dante a lot more morally correct than that, but he was sure Jormungand would get on his ass if he even thought about giving the kid a drink or a blunt.

Dante looked back down at Asmodeus now, ignoring the conversation Gael was attempting to have with the cub's father. "Alright, kid. Come on."

// [member=18074]ASMODEUS[/member] , private thread or no? I was just planning on letting Asmodeus attack Dante, let his anger out that way[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Re: atonement - open; returning jor - ASMODEUS DI-ANGELO - 04-26-2021

"natus vincere" asmodeus ── optics would narrow
at gael's dismissive tone towards his father, a  father whos behavior took a one-hundred eighty degrees turn. this wasn't him, this wasn't like him, asmodeus had spent enough time with him to know he wasn't spposed to act like this. he looked at dante with a frown and a nod, maw parting to simply accept the offer and follow along.
