Upon approaching, the words of Elsweyr echoed throughout the clearing and rang clear within Atticus' ears. The smell of salt filled the air. With a grimance, the recovering canine limbered over and hovered over his mother, listening carefully to the concerns of Tanglewood and their members. Despite being a Pittian, he felt he had a say. This was his first home and where his family lived, along with the place he risked his life for. With a low growl, his gaze shifted from Medusa and to the rest of the group. To see them sympathizing for this traitor was astounding.

Even if they eventually stood up against the Coalition of the Condemned, they still enabled their tactics initially. The Palm Glades still took from their territory, helped enslave their members, and oppressed them under the rule of Rhinestonestar and Stryker. They could have taken a stand. Just like with the situation within The Pitt, Atticus had chosen to stand up with Vale against The Pitt's inability to take action. To say that Medusa did the same would be a lie. Even if she died as she proclaimed, she did nothing else during the long accumulation of war. The Pittian merely snorted.

The usually outspoken canine was too tired to argue. With his mother and Aurum enabling them too, especially after knowing what he went through, Atticus' fur was standing on end. Before any rash decisions, the canine walked away.
