Bastille could practically feel the tension in the air as he arrived, stopping a few paces in front of Arion's front hooves as his gaze flickered over the source of the drama swiftly. (Octavia came prancing after him, never one to be left out of the excitement apparently, but she was distracted by the colt and stopped directly beside him with a nip at his mane, heedless to the tension.) There was a lot of anger and aggression thrumming through his Clanmate's auras -- notably, Hazel mostly just seemed nervous, which was why he had subconsciously moved to block her in similar fashion to Suite -- and he couldn't tell why. Sure, this stranger had taken a few steps over their border instead of waiting, but they found clueless newcomers all the time on their territory. Why was everyone immediately freaking the fuck out? After a few beats, the storm seemed to clear, the dramatic thunder and lightning dissipating unnaturally quickly. Hey, it didn't seem to be helping anyone's mood, alright? Besides, it was annoying him. "Please don't tell me this is another of your dead human friends," Bastille drawled to Roy, offering absolutely no indication of alarm or aggression as he eyed up "Raven". Her aura did seem a bit nasty, but if she had said something to set everyone off like this, he'd missed it. [b]"Or not-friend, I guess. Any way, is there a particular reason everyone is freaking out over one stranger, or did I miss the memo about International Overreaction Day?" Re: LA DEVOTEE / o, trespassing - Lust, - 05-15-2018 Don't be cautious, don't be kind You committed, I'm your crime
Upon hearing the polar bear's rather snarky comment about her wanting a tour and not waiting at the border, Lust would send a harmless smile in Suite's direction, a mock innocent look forming in her red-eyes. "My apologizes. I'll be taking my leave right now." The female pause as Roy approached, a large smirk growing on her face at his voice. Lust would pause before she faced him. "Oh my, it's my old "friend" Roy Mustang. I would say it was nice to see your face, but you killed me before. So, a little payback doesn't hurt." Lust would lung forward, attempting to stab Roy in the chest with her unusual-long claws while he was caught off-guard then she would proceed to walk away from the scene, ignoring the sudden arrival of Eternalwar and Bastillepaw, laughing as she went. A quick, short feeling of relief ran through his veins when the wildcat announced she would be leaving. She reminded him far too much of Lust, and he was actually pretty positive it was her. He didn't want to share a home with that thing- the Ascendants would no longer feel safe for him or Hughes. He knows he shouldn't really speak for his friend, but Hughes is alive again- he doesn't want to loose him again. He has no idea if Lust had any involvement with Hughes murder and he'd rather keep her away if she had. His thoughts were distracted from "Raven" for a moment when Eternalwar nudged him lightly. He glanced over at the tiger, ears pinning back. "If my assumptions of who she really is are correct, then I unfortunately know of her." And then his attention quickly settled back onto Lust, as that large, familiar smirk grew on her features. That would be another sign for Roy to assume who she was, but as soon as she spoke directly to him, he didn't have to assume anymore. "Oh my, it's my old 'friend' Roy Mustang." He heard that seductive voice speak, and it instantly caused Roy's lip to curl up more into a snarl. He is not her friend, she was only saying that thanks to Bastillepaw here! But the mocking tone can be heard well clearly, but he still didn't want people to assume he was friends with such a monster. "I would say it was nice to see your face, but you killed me before. So, a little payback doesn't hurt." Roy didn't even have a chance to give a time to react to her words, as the melanistic bobcat was still processing on the fact that this bitch is alive too. His blue eyes widened with pain as her long, sharp claws dug deep into his chest, the male just managing to keep a yelp down his throat. It was painful, and it should have been expected from her. He felt ashamed for not seeing this coming, he should have been more careful. He remembered how she stabbed him the last time, the only reason why he didn't bleed to death was because he cauterized the wound. This time around, he was caught off guard. But as soon as he was stabbed, the claws were torn out of his body by Lust, who didn't seemed she was going to stay any longer. Before he knew it, the wildcat was padding off, laughing as he did so. Blood began to bubble in his chest wound, droplets of blood dripping onto the ground and staining the grass. Red blood stained his chest fur, and the male stepped back to sit down, placing one of his front paws on the wound to give it pressure. Now his paw, and flame array were going to be stained with blood- but thankfully his array is engraved into his pawpads, so he doesn't have to worry about ruining it. "She isn't, nor was she ever, my friend Bastillepaw," The Flame Alchemist said through gritted teeth, "For starters, she wasn't even human and almost killed me and my subordinates," If it wasn't a known fact that Roy was apart of the military as a human, then hopefulyl it should be known now. Plus considering Lust said he killed her in front of everyone, to the peaceful, mostly pacifistic members, they probably should hear the truth. The truth was that he killed her, and he felt no shame or remorse about it. If anything, when he killed a monster like her, after feeling like a monster himself during Ishbal, he never felt more human. "It's true that I killed her back in my home, but it had been difficult- she was a monster that refused to die easily. She isn't good news, and I doubt this will be the last time we'll see the last of her." He said with a frown, before looking down at his chest to see his now blood soaked paw. Oh yeah, he should get this checked out. He can cauterize the wound, but it'd probably be best to let a medic look at it first. "Now, can someone grab me a medic?" Re: LA DEVOTEE / o, trespassing - Warringkingdoms - 05-16-2018 [font=trebuchet ms]In what seemed like the blink of an eye, seven of her comrades had arrived, threats had been flung out, "Raven" was looking incredibly suspicious, and the situation was quickly approaching an out-and-out fight. With narrowed eyes, Rin motioned with one paw for Hazel, Immortal, and Bastille to get back- she probably wouldn't be able to convince Suite, Margaery, Eternal, or Roy to back down, but she could at least minimize the number of people that got hurt if a fight broke out. Besides, if Roy's flames were as powerful as she'd heard, then she couldn't risk other people catching on fire. Then, before she could register what was going on, "Raven" lunged for Roy. With a hiss, Rin rushed over to Roy, but didn't arrive in time to block the blow- she'd been standing too far away. In that moment, the claws striking the bobcat square in the chest, time seemed to slow to a crawl. Rin's eyes locked first onto Raven's abnormally-sharp appendages, then the crimson liquid spilling from the wound, then Roy's widened blue eyes, then her own paws- too late to protect him, too late to save her clanmate. As time began to flow normally again, the Norwegian Forest Cat skidded to a halt, stifling a cry of panic. No, she couldn't afford to lose her head now. He was still talking (a foolish course of action to take, but it meant he wasn't choking, so he probably hadn't punctured a lung or any other vital organs), so there was still time. Swiftly removing her scarf from around her neck, she attempted to wrap it around the male's chest, to staunch the bleeding. It was far from a proper bandage, but it'd have to do until the medic arrived. Speaking of the medic, was there one? Glancing down, Rin thought briefly. She'd heard something about a "Radeken," but she had no idea where he was or what he looked like. "Is Radeken still here?" she asked, looking back at the others. "And if he's not, does he have any suitable replacements? If not, we'll have to figure it out ourselves." She thought she could recall what some of the basic herbs were, but she wasn't sure that little knowledge would suffice for this case. |
