Re: GOLD AND SILVER LINE MY HEART / open - Margaery - 05-16-2018 [color=#b14767] ❁ ❁ ❁
[color=#b14767]"Bast!" Exclaimed the chocolate point worriedly, though there was no denying the sudden spark of awareness that lit up her gray eyes. She wasn't completely drunk, not yet, but her once rosy lenses had certainly been ripped off come Suiteheart's arrival. [color=#b14767]"Why'd you tell her?" She inquired, tail swishing in any almost anxious fashion behind her. Suite was not fond of this version of Margaery and she could faintly detect her wife's worry for her through their bond. In the past, she might have grown angry but she didn't wish to cause a scene at this particular moment in time. She and Suite were already navigating troubled waters- if Marg were to allow her entitled attitude to cloud her judgement, she would only succeed in worsening their issues. And so, she surprised even herself by knocking the glass over and allowing its contents to spill out all over the ground, flinching slightly as she realized that she had just wasted good quality alcohol. [color=#b14767]"Maybe..." She began uncertainly, [color=#b14767]"You're right." Hazel's arrival was a welcome distraction and Margaery, in spite of the distress she was feeling, flashed her a warm smile. She quite liked Hazel. [color=#b14767]"You can be..." Her interest was once more piqued by Bastillepaw and it seemed as if she either had forgotten that he "told Suite" or had chose to forgive him for it. [color=#b14767]"My third favorite," She supplied confidently, not knowing who exactly came in second but rather, appreciating how nice it was to say the word 'third'. [color=#b14767]"Oh no! I could never! My songs aren't very good," Margaery confessed, shooting a sweet look at her wife. She supposed that that was a lie in its own way, but the chocolate point's mind wasn't as intact as it normally was. [color=#b14767]"She knows how much I love her though." There was a pause and then, her metaphorical brows stitched together in confusion. [color=#b14767]"I hope she does anyways." She let a breath slip through her lips, and she was glad things were okay. Her attention fell upon Bastillepaw next. He seemed to be enabling Margaery, and while she couldn't exactly place blame on him, she started to. He shouldn't have been egging her on. Her hardened stare softened within seconds, though, for he could not have known the dangers of what might happen when Margaery got drunk. God, Suite was so thankful this wasn't a bad episode. "Sorry to be a buzz-kill," she quietly rumbled, but there was a slight edge on her voice. After she spoke, she shook her head a tad as if to take back her slightly harsh tone. At Margaery's words, she turned. In amazement, she watched as her wife spilled the remnants of her drink. Margaery... didn't do that. She downed bottles in one go, and she certainly didn't waste. It was odd, and Suite couldn't explain how or why she had done that. "I didn't mean..." she began before trailing off, voice small for such a large creature. "Of course I love you, Margy. Always." Her voice was sincere and warm. She wished Margaery could truly find the answer within herself, knowing good and well Suite loved her like no other, but wishes and reality were two very separate entities. Forcing this insecurity down, she offered her wife a small smile. |
