DEAR FRIEND as you know,  your flowers are withering
your mother's gone insane, your leaves have drifted away.
but the clouds are clearing up
and i've come reveling, burning incandescently,
like a bastard on the burning sea.

YOU'RE JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER,
BURIED DEEP UNDER THE WATER.
"Idyllfields is not here." Goldie would respond first and quickly, a little annoyed by the question. She had not cared for the relationship between the two in the first place. Before she could think of any responses for anything else though, she went quiet, as others began to speak up. Including Aphra, having a weird reaction to them calling her a weird name. But it was momentary, and clearly linked to something she didn't understand, and likely didn't have anything to do with the actual nature of this visit, so she lets the other have her outburst for now.

"I can't tell you who t' be friends wit'. Thas' your choice, Torsten." Which was, in fact the truth. And there was no reason to keep children involved with public affairs bigger than they could understand, or should understand. It wasn't their burden to bare. Still, she wanted to sit on the side of caution - she did not like the idea of any child, much less her family, to wander about willy-nilly without supervision. Her head lowers closer to Torsten as she prepares her next set of words. "Still, maybe you shouldn' visit until you're older. At least, don' be without an adult if you leave the archipelago." The captain states in a softer tone, though stern, a clear order towards the child. She then lifts her head back up, keeping her gaze upon Bai Shi. Before she can think about speaking again, Roan steps in, offering his own two cents.

He'd not been there for the battle, nor the war at all, and rightfully so, seeing as he'd not even been born at the time. She's not so sure if she ever spoke directly about Bai Shi - perhaps in passing - as there'd been no reason for her to discuss the dragon unless they specifically approached her day in one way or another, such as today. But she's quite certain they hadn't crossed paths for a long while now, and there was little reason for the other to enter her mind. They were not enemies, by any means, but Goldie did not consider them a potential friend either. And likely would not ever, unless she saw serious change. And she didn't care to stick around to see it if it were to happen. She'd rather not see them at all. And while she's not so sure she agreed with every word Roan said, he did hold the right message, a close explanation to the complacency that had angered her so regarding the other.

She shakes her head softly as her turn to speak arrives. "The only thing I lost during that battle was energy. I fought for freedom and I always will." The female states bluntly, voice firm. If others were hurt during such a time it was for a worthy cause, and the enemies that fell had only brought such a fate upon themselves. Even Kydobi, whom she had later granted the leadership to, had brought his own death, for letting himself believe he could change Jervis for so long. "I won' stop m' crewmates if they choose t' go, but we are not in need o' any such aid. I only ask for somethin' if I intend to give equal effort in turn. I am not lookin' for any new deals." She continues, keeping her tone neutral now. Clearly Bai Shi was not looking to make threats, and was trying to butter her up, for some reason - perhaps for the child they explained liked to wander - but she was not looking for anything further than a neutral standing.

"Hey! I'm sorry I'm late!" The call of the feline-fox hybrid would be heard behind the two Alithians, and the goddess came to a slow stop behind them. She had been following along, but had gotten lost in the process, enjoying the view from the air above. It had been forever since she had been allowed the stretch her wings and fly freely without too much worry.

However, she did hear the conversation turn sour rather quickly, and was equally as fast to respond to such a situation and reason with Goldenluxury. Or, at least the former Elysite would try to do, hoping to forge new friendships in the wake of all of this chaos. This wasn't about past actions anymore, and she had been around for the Pitt war and takeover. She knew what Bai had done, however she also understood their reasons for leaving and starting a new life with a new group to no longer be associated with their past.

"Goldenluxury. It's been a while." The goddess began, giving a nod to her, as well as the smaller child interacting with her own. "I understand why you are feeling standoffish towards Bai Shi, however, I can assure you that they have turned a new leaf. Alithis Evgenis stands as its own entity, and they are a new being from the one you met at the raid. I encourage you to give them, and Alithis Evgenis, a chance for redemption at the very least. Give them a chance. Isn't that what you offered the Pitt when you temporarily took over?"

A flutter of her wings and adjustment of her position would follow this, allowing the leader of the Typhoon a chance to think. But she did have one more thing to add.

"Bai Shi left the Pitt to start a new life. They did not mean for harm to come to anyone. If you gave the most vicious group we know of a second chance, why couldn't you do the same for an individual who has separated themselves from that group? It would not make sense for you not to give them another shot."

Diya was late to the approach, but it was one that would deem eventful. She took in several things at once. Much of her family had gathered, including her young son, and a face she hadn't ever expected to see again. She raised an eyebrow at the way Goldenluxury stood over her son, though grateful to know that the captain would protect him if the time came.

She worked off her leader's stance, moving to stand beside the tigress as she greeted Roan with a kind smile. She ducked her head to peer at Torsten, smiling softly. "Hello there, ma tortue," she greeted softly, a loving tone in her voice as she lifted her head to look at the strangers gathered. Well, one non-stranger. A soft chuckle left the vampires and she shook her head. "Well well well, Playerone, surprised to see you again." She took a short breath, tail flicking behind her as she looked down for a moment. "Did you hear the news of Rinny and Uncle Coop...?" she didn't want to be the bearer of bad news but, she knew that they needed to be told what had happened.
