Aphra Cipher.

Just as horrid as her father, the Officer's snout would wrinkle at what Aphra said to her brother as she would walk over with her tail lashing to the sides only to sweep up some sand in its wake. Aphra Cipher was treading on thin ice and it would only be a matter of time when Roxanne would snap and end up hurting the stark femme though she couldn't help but watch with subtle amusement as Michael chucked a bottle of alcohol at Aphra. Served the other right and if Aphra thought Roxanne was going to step in to stop it, well, she would be very wrong. The tigress would draw near standing behind Michael as she watched Aphra through narrowed slits, a low growl emitting from her maw as she watched the stark femme through narrowed pupils. Aphra had already gotten her share of injuries and Roxanne wouldn't mind inflicting a few more.

"Tasteless joke by a tasteless bitch," The Officer snarled with her lips peeled back, of course, Roxie wouldn't start any fights right now. No, her brother was happy. But she did reach out and grab a few bottles for herself, she rarely drank but she felt like she needed it. [glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

At Georgia’s sudden arrival, Paola seems to brighten more, offering the somali a bright smile in greeting. ”Hey, Geo,” she calls out, waving the tip of her tail before breaking out in a quiet snicker at the other’s snide comment towards Aphra. She feels better, now with a surge of familiar faces popping up who weren't as displeasing as the oriental cat, and the black she-cat gets comfortable listening to their back-and-forth.

While she hasn't known Michael long, she’s not blind to the effect he has on the newest teenagers of the Typhoon. Sure, she neither knows or remembers what it’s like to have a father, but if anybody can fill that papa-shaped hole in her heart, Michael would certainly be the best candidate… not that she’d ever admit it out loud, or even in secret. She hardly knows the person, and he undoubtedly hardly knows her.

Falling back into the present, she smiles in greeting at the newest arrivals to the scene before turning back to the parent-to-be, snorting amusedly at his comment. ”Whadayamean? You’re pretty cool. I bet your kids would turn out pretty cool, too,” she teases gently. ”I call dibs on teaching them how to lob fish at people.”

At his approval, she quickly slinks forward and grabs two bottles from the collection, plucking one by the teeth and carrying the other with her tail. She isn’t quite sure what either of them are, but Paola looks satisfied enough by her haul, resuming her position next to Georgia and setting them down. ”Thank you, Mr. Michael, sir!” She brushes the tip of her tail above one eye in a playful salute.

Armed with bottles, Paola settles down to continue listening to the conversation, giggling at Harlow’s question. ”It’s to make sure they’re healthy,” she adds to Michael’s explanation, following his lead and leaving the why and how vague. She opens her mouth to offer more non-specific information when her ears twitch at Aphra’s outburst, her eyes immediately moving up in a roll.

”It sure didn’t sound like a joke,” the she-cat mutters under her breath, lip curling but otherwise looking satisfied by Roxanne’s reprimand. She shakes her head, pushing the bitter feelings away. ”Hey, we have a collection of bottles now between us and the tavern. Why not crack some open, and bring in some non-alcoholic drinks? We’re all gathered here anyway, maybe we can have a tiny little celebration for Mr. Michael?”

BABY'S GOT A FACE LIKE THUNDER:

Re: LOOKED LIKE YOU ☆ pregnancy - michael t. - 08-18-2020

He wouldn't lie, seeing Aphra jumping back in fear, along with the wounds that she had suffered from the bottle, was immensely satisfying. She claimed it was just a joke, but the coyote found himself snorting, head shaking from side to side before he barked gruffly, "Keep your goddamn jokes to yourself, Aphra. Especially if they involve my kids." Part of him wondered if he was being too harsh, but another part just wished that the bottle had inflicted more damage. After all, the Cipher had a lot of nerve showing her face around anywhere what she had pulled at Sam's death. As Roxanne grew close, Michael found himself smiling slightly, pressing happily into her sister's side once she had settled. His new coyote form was taller than his bobcat one, but once again Roxie remained larger than him, and part of him had to wonder if that had been intentional. He doubted it, but she had always enjoyed teasing him about his stature, so it could really go either way. Nonetheless, the thief found himself snorting when her heard the officer's comment, grateful for her presence as always. He knew that she'd make a wonderful aunt for the puppies.

Turning his mismatched gaze back to Paola, the reaver found himself laughing a little bit more. Both at how he was being referred to as Mr. Michael, and also because of Paola's calling of "dibs." Nodding his head, he muttered as his tail wagged to and fro behind him, "...Maybe you're right. I like to think my husband is pretty cool too, so maybe they'll have a decent shot. Although... please be sure to teach them to lob fish at shitty people. I really don't need all of the Typhoon on my ass cause my kids are causing chaos." Not that he wasn't expecting that, all things considered. Paola's next suggestion... honestly made the smile on Michael's muzzle even brighter. It was still sometimes surreal, knowing that The Typhoon was truly like a family that came together to celebrate such things. Tail still thumping, he said confidently, "That sounds good to me! Even if I can't drink for a while, I can still have a good time... I'm sure that people around here know how to make some good non-alcoholic drinks. Especially with all of the kids visiting the tavern these days." He shot a look at Jaime then, smirking mischievously. He knew that most children within the group had been at the tavern for one reason or another, usually because of their siblings.

Jesus Christ, everyone was still on her ass about this. "Learn to take a fucking joke." Was all the she-cat offered, her words in a hiss, before she turned around and walked off - probably to go take care of the wound she got from the bottles.
