Re: A Stroll Across the Beach - candorosa - 02-10-2020 [align=center][div style="width:70%; text-align: justify; padding: 1px; font-family: helvetica;"]Woah. Who was this guy? Finished with his week-long sulking-slash-slow-healing, Lemy had found himself stumbling across the small group. He fiddled with his cloak as he watched the strange lynx go about collecting his seashells. Frankly, half of the things he spouted were nonsensical to Lemy and from the amusing replies Nemhain was giving the lynx, he wasn't alone. Still, it was charming in an odd way. Made Lemy feel like the wacko was about to give them all a quest and then disappear into the fog. Finished with his observations, he slid over to a spot next to Mistrim all while he sent a quick jeer in Nemhain's direction. "Jeez Nem, can't a guy have a hobby? Some people just like collectin' stuff, that's the point, duh." He punctuated the end of his sentence with an exasperated sigh. He shook his head in faux-disappointment then turned to Sterling with renewed vigor. "Nice to meet ya, Sterlie! Name's Lemy! Which kind of shells are ya favorite? Conch shells, the long spirally ones, or just the colorful ones?" He rattled off, sneaking a quick glance out to the ocean. Eugh. "If we're gonna look for shells we gotta know what ya like, don'tcha think?" Lemy finished with a beam. Re: A Stroll Across the Beach - Mistrim - 02-13-2020 Nemhain and Rin showing up did not surprise Mistrim. Whenever a group was seen they were always ready to scope things out. This wasn’t a bad thing per say but when you were trying to avoid people it became hard, especially since Nemhain never seemed to sleep. Mistrim had been successful (as far as she knew) at avoiding other Elysites in the wake of her training sessions but it was an annoying endevour to say the least. It seemed like the two had met the lynx already, which also was not surprising. Then preceded to watch as the oddball began to greet everyone. Half of her was amused at the vigor of which he did everything with, the other half disturbed by his nearly crazed nature. It didn’t help when he viewed her with such interest. She visibly shrunk back as he got close. Her ears flattening against her horns and her tail wrapping protectively around herself. Her wings fluttered slightly in panic at the proximity. She didn’t pick up on the fact that he saw her as a child, something while admittedly was a good assumption, Mistrim would most definitely be a little embarrassed about. While she shrunk away from Sterling she lightly bumped into someone else. She turned, about to apologize before she saw who it was. She couldn’t help the small smile. Admittedly she had been worried, she hadn’t seen Lemy since the checkup after the Ferryman‘s defeat and when she did he wasn’t in a good state. Perhaps the two‘s separation was a combination between his healing and her own detachment but it made her glad that he was okay. Despite his mocking and banter, she really did see him as a friend and to see him back in a good condition just made her a bit happier. She mumbled a quiet apology to Lemy for bumping into him, but she sat next to him with a smile. Even if he didn’t like most people, he was sure to have a friend in her. She just wasn’t sure if he knew that. |
