[font=trebuchet ms]As Alastor approached, Rin glanced over towards him- and as he made a pass at Vale, she rolled her eyes. She'd seen the male a few times prior, but they hadn't spoken much. Perhaps using pet names on strangers was just his thing, but she'd known enough Casanovas to realize that some creatures really were just that desperate.

Vale, naturally, was having none of that. Listening to her and Nemhain's explanations, Rin nodded in acknowledgement. More surprising, however, was Alastor's declaration that he'd been there since his childhood. Thinking it over... she hadn't seen him that often, and she only remembered encounters from recently. Maybe her memory was just fuzzy, or maybe he was abnormally reclusive.

Shaking her head, she walked up to the pulley and stepped onto the scaffolding. "All aboard," she said, twitching her ears. Moments later, realization dawned on her, and she messaged Nemhain, I assume you're alright flying along with us?

The bigass bird’s explanation only heightened Vale’s confusion. The black jaguar raised a brow, ears flicking back in irritation for a moment. A persona? The hell was that? At least she got a decent description of what the hell species she was. “Some kinda mythological gene soup, aye? Yeah, I‌ can’t shapeshift into anything that falls close to that category… unfortunately. Looks like a rockin’ body to spend time in,” she said. Her scarred shoulder rolled back in a half-shrug.

“Yeah, you were probably a child or some tenderfoot back when I was around. No offense, but I‌ hate kids, and annoying adults tended to be hellishly annoying babies. No wonder we’ve never met.” Maybe she had met him. But Vale probably would’ve noped the fuck away from any children as quick as she could, especially the more brat points they wracked up.

At Rin’s assumption about riding the bigass bird, her eyes widened again. “Oh, shit, that’s gonna be fucking rad,” she said, her tail lashing excitedly. As she spoke, the large feline’s bulk wilted down and her frame became steadily smaller. In less than five seconds, a regular black domestic feline stood in front of them. “Alright, this should help, right? I assume even mythological bigass badass birdies have a weight limit.”

Her ear flicked, and she glanced between Rin and… her persona… for a moment. Then to the annoying canine, but she tried to ignore that guy. “While we’re in the air, can someone explain how the fuck an Elysium works? I’m barely familiar with Sunhaven and their traditions, so hell if I‌ can fucking figure out how a merge between my group and those shits turned out one year later.”
