Maybe she had been a bit rough with the whole tackling him over but she supposed that she would make up for it later. Her eyes never leaving him in that moment, though a part of her was anxious. What if she was moving too fast? What if her actions were far too rash? Several what ifs buzzed in her mind but before she was drowned out by her own thoughts, the voice of the male that was underneath her had snapped her out of her brief daze. Hearing him tell her that she needn't apologize for her harsh behavior made her frown a bit though he had a point that he had been a dumbass, she didn't feel as if her actions or words had been the correct way of handling any situation.
Especially when Greed had meant so much to her, the possibility of her hurting him only made her heart and insides ache with a soft emotional pain. It felt like small claws embedding themselves into her heart though her maw opened as eh would speak with a small shake of her head "I mean, essentially we're both dumbasses." Faint traces of a smile starting to form on her lips, in a big way, she wasn't wrong. Something that was meant to be a single night had turned into well, this. Roxie hadn't known she would have fallen in love with Greed or let alone the jaguar feeling the same for her in the end. She presses her nose further into the fur in his neck murmuring "But ya didn't deserve it in the end. . . Or that one time I bit you," That had been a dick move of her but she still couldn't stifle the giggle that escaped her after speaking that one moment. If anything, she would probably let Greed bite her back if he wished to get even though she kept silent in that one moment.
She perked up hearing him suddenly stop speaking, she began to grow worried that maybe he didn't really feel the same way. She took a deep breath, it had been so long since Roxie had been this close to Greed. She missed it. The sound of his heart racing and thumping within his chest made her forget about her own in that moment, her ears twitching slightly. She would glance up at him unable to hide that shy smile on her face, so he had meant it. About being together. It made her heart race and flutter, the butterflies in her tummy growing restless. Roxanne got slightly startled when she felt herself rise as Greed took a long breath, but at his next words well, she could already feel her eyes starting to sting.
"I love ya, too, Rox."
That's all she ever wanted to hear back then on the beach that day but hearing it now with her own ears, well, it was blissful. Roxanne closes her eyes feeling his paw wrap around her with his chin resting on her neck, loud purrs erupting from the small feline and causing her entire body to vibrate with absolute joy "I love you so much," Hearing what he said made her snort with amusement, with her head lifting up just a bit as her mismatched gaze locked with his. God, she loved those eyes of his and well, she didn't hesitate in taking the shades from the top of his head where they had been resting. A giggle escaping her as she took his large paw into her arms "I could say just the same, handsome. We're both lucky," She took a deep breath only to find herself having a small fit of giggles escape her. She didn't mean to laugh but she found his words to be very cute and endearing to her.
"I didn't think you'd be so cheesy, Greed."
Before the jaguar could answer her, the small feline takes his muzzle into her paws and leans forward to give him a passionate kiss. Which was quite the feat with how much smaller she was than Greed yet she wouldn't let that stop her from giving her new lover all the love and affection she wanted to express to him. Her tail curled behind her as her purrs grew louder, she snuggled up against Greed after the kiss not wanting to spend the night any other way. This would be her first relationship and fuck if she didn't know how this would go, she only hoped that it lasted for a good amount of time. She didn't know if she'd ever love anyone as much bad she loved Greed.

There's a steady beat in his ears, the pound of his heart a fluttering sound, background noise as she speaks. He's trying not to think, trying not to think about what kind of disaster this might end them both up in, so he just focuses on her, watching her mouth move and feeling the warmth of her against him. He wants to cherish this, experience it as much as he can, so he can seal it away inside his heart and revisit it whenever he's feeling melancholy. He wants to remember the way she smiles at him.
He grins, white teeth contrasting the black fur of his face. There's an impish glint in his eyes. "Guess we're meant to be, then. Two dumbasses against the world." When she goes on to bring up that one time she had bit him, he just chuckles, deep and warm. "I dunno, it wasn't that bad. I kinda liked it." he says with a wink. Was he actually kidding, though? Who knew.
Greed's smile only widens, his chest warm and light. He was lucky to even have this moment. Still, he tries not to think of that, or anything else negative that could ruin this. He only holds her, drowning in her. He responds to her purring with his own, loudly rumbling.
"Well, that's the kind of thing ya do to me, Rox. You make me a cheesy man." That's what he would have said, had she not pressed an eager kiss to his mouth. He tenses out of surprise, but once he realized what had happened, he quickly returned the gesture, a wide smile offered to her once they parted.
"Damn, that's the best kiss I've had in a few hundred years." he admits, nose burying itself in her fur when she gets settled on top of him.
He's quiet, then, enjoying the moment, the serene atmosphere of it all. How long had it been since he felt this happy, this fulfilled? He couldn't say exactly, but a long damn while, he was sure. He could have never seen himself falling in love again, not after what happened last time, yet here he was. He couldn't put into words how good it felt.
When she speaks up again, he can't help nodding his head in agreement, staring up at the stars that flickered in the night sky. "Me neither. I wouldn't trade any of my moments with you, not for the whole world." It felt odd to be pouring his heart out like this, laying it all out bare, but he supposed that's what he should do now, or should have done a long time ago.

The feeling of his fur against hers made her feel like she was stepping through clouds, she didn't think that she would move from where she was especially with how comfortable she was simply sitting in Greed's arms under the moonlight. The sound of his heart against her head soothing her completely, all the tension she ever had the day before now gone. The talking between the both of them only making the night better, she wished it had been like this before yet she was happy now that she was able to do this with Greed without worrying about him leaving her. Her feelings pooled and spilling everywhere like an overfilled glass of wine, her whiskers twitching as she would let out a happy hum from her lips. She opened her eyes watching him speak, she didn't know why but she just wanted to remember this whole night and reminisce in it whenever she was feeling sad or just any negative emotion though she was sure that wouldn't occur in a long while now that she had Greed at her side.
Hearing what he said made her purrs grow louder, she couldn't help the giggles that escaped her "Guess so. I'd go up against the world if it meant being here with you like this every night," Her nose pressed to his chin only for her to snort at his next few words, her eyes narrowed for a moment though a smile graced her face. One that had been absent for a long time, a sickly, sweet smile tugging at her lips as she purred with her own wink "That so? I wouldn't be against it if you returned the gesture," Though her eyes slowly closed once more as her paws kneaded gently into his chest making it a bit more comfortable for herself, she let out a long, happy sigh escape her lips. She honestly could stay like this forever had it not been for the fact that it was getting a bit chilly, she felt her body shivering a bit causing her to cuddle closer to the jaguar.
The sound of his own rumbling made her feel all warm and cuddly, her eyes half opened as she stared at him with so much adoration in her mismatched gaze. When their lips had met, it felt like there was electricity coursing through her body. The moment they parted, she would blink at him like some lovesick puppy. Purrs still escaping her while her whole body buzzed with so many positive emotions, the dopamine being rather strong tonight. She hadn't been this happy since a long time ago, she could remember how she had been held like this before but it hadn't been the same. She pushed the thought away only wanting to give her upmost attention to Greed at the moment. Upon what he said about the kiss, a giggle escaped her "That's just the beginning of it, baby ~," Her voice hushed as she gave him a quick peck on the cheek before brushing her head against his face.
The thought of falling in love had been a distant concept in her mind but, she knew that she had wanted to experience something so blissful. She didn't really think of love back when she lived on the streets since she had been too busy trying to survive all the shit that life was throwing in her direction. It was just like what Planecrash said, someone was bound to sweep her off her feet and marry her, and with every fiber in her body. She hoped that would be the case one day with Greed though that was for another time, she was happy at this very moment. Nothing could possibly ruin it for them. Well, except probably the cold that was beginning to nip at her exposed body parts that weren't covered by Greed's arms, she could feel herself shivering once more.

She wrapped her arms around his neck resting her nose on his chest "I'm happy the universe brought your dumbass back to me," A sad yet happy giggle escaped her, soon she was already pressing a few kisses to him. Her ears brushed against the back of her head, she hummed quietly to herself only to finally say with a soft purr "Wanna watch a movie and eat ice cream? Like old times," The Siamese would shiver a bit adding with a playful chatter of her teeth "It'll be warmer and less lonely with your company, " She doubted any of her crocodiles were home at the time and she knew that Roan was tucked in, sleeping soundly. Surely, the presence of her new lover wouldn't bother him. She would stretch out a bit with a tilt of her head adding with a wink and playful wiggle "But no surprises y'hear?" She nuzzled him once more only to squirm out of his grasp and land into the sand with an "oof" before shaking herself out.

Never in a million years did he think he would fall in love again, or at least give into such feelings, but here he was, laying here and cuddling his girlfriend. It was nice to think that he could call her that now, his girlfriend. If she wasn't laying on top of him right now, he might float away. It was true, he realized with an absentminded chuckle, she had made him turn into some cheesy bachelor he hardly recognized. The worst part was that he didn't mind.
Damn, she was about to make him cry, too. He can feel his eyes start to burn when she expresses how much he meant to her, his mouth opening to share the sentiment but he just closed it, afraid he would just make it worse by the way his throat constricted with tears. If only he could tell her that she put the stars and the moon in the night sky, or that she could outshine the sun any day.
Greed's chest rumbles at her kisses, reveling in the affection, something he hadn't gotten in so long. It felt nice to be love, but most of all, it felt nice to be loved back. When she offers to go inside, though, he nods with a smirk, the memories of earlier days bringing a bittersweet feeling. He wished he hadn't have been such an idiot back then. At least they were united now, brought back together by fate. Too bad he didn't believe in anything like that.
"Yeah, sounds good." he agrees, then pouts dramatically. "Aw, where's the fun in that? Fine, fine." He grins, begrudgingly allowing her to slip out of his grip. He remembers when they first watched a movie together, when he had been so awe-struck by the technology. He had never seen anything like it before, considering what kind of things they had back in Amestris.
As they make their way into the hut, the jaguar tries to keep quiet, mindful of the cub sleeping in the other room. He also kept an eye out for any crocodiles that might be watching him, waiting to pounce. He didn't feel like losing a leg tonight, no sir.

It made her feel so delighted that she could now call him that, the concept of love having been rather foreign to her, she knew when she had caught feelings but she had never been in a relationship before. At least, not an actual relationship. She couldn't help but purr at the sound of his chuckling, she could only hope that she would make a pretty good girlfriend for Greed or she'd make an attempt to do so. She hadn't realized it until now but whenever she was with the dark furred jaguar, he made her feel she was safe and nobody could hurt her or the both of them whenever they were together. She felt like she finally had all the puzzle pieces in her life now, none of them were lost anymore, and it made her feel so complete. So happy. The thought made her eyes sting a bit though she did her best in hiding away the tears, she didn't want to end up ruining the night for the both of them because of her crying. Her mind racing with things she wanted to tell Greed but she was sure if she tried she would probably burst out crying, a faint purr would escape her.
Hearing what he said next made her snort with amusement, she rolled her eyes at him nudging him with her shoulder only to brush pass his legs, taking the lead. She finds herself glancing around for either of her crocodiles not seeing them, she would glance over her shoulder seeing that Greed seemed to be cautious as well. It was cute in a way but, she knew that Kalayavan wouldn't be all that happy if he saw the jaguar setting a paw into their mother's home. She would say with a quiet voice unable to hold back a giggle "Don't worry, he can't fit in the hut like he used to... The only reptile that can is Lorelei and she's much smaller than the crocodiles." She perked her ears at the sudden sound of claws clicking against the floor, eventually the small chubby figure of the said tegu appeared. The tegu stared at Greed for a moment only to waddle away once more into the dark probably to go back asleep. Roxie's tail brushed underneath Greed's chin as she would lead them to her room, that's where she had most of goodies like the ice cream within her mini fridge. She'd have to restock soon, she opened it letting out a soft hum only to mew with a smile on haw maw "Make yourself comfortable, babe~,"
Eventually her eyes concentrated on the small shelf where she had most of her movies, she couldn't think of which one to watch. One caught her eye, a silver spoon resting between her lips, well, now it was her turn to show Greed how cheesy she was. She grabbed the movie, Lady and the Tramp, placing it into her DVD player and it wasn't long before the movie began to play with a nice song at the beginning. She turned the volume down a bit soon bringing over the tub of ice cream over, she took a spot next to Greed scooting up close to him until their pelts brushed against each other. The moment gave her a bittersweet feeling, she couldn't believe this was happening or more so, she didn't believe she would find herself watching movies with Greed after their disappearances. She sighed just feeling grateful, she would take the lid off the ice cream taking a spoonful of the cookie dough flavored treat. She watched Greed from the corner of her eye, it was always funny seeing how his eyes were basically plastered to the screen. She wondered if he had ever seen a television before, she shrugged the thought away indulging in the ice cream and movie.
Soon the romance bits of the movie were playing in front of the both individuals, Roxie could feel her heart racing a bit within her chest, her unoccupied paw moving a bit as she would attempt to place her smaller paw onto Greed's much larger one. A faint smile tracing her lips as her head leaned against his shoulder unable to hold in a purr, oh how she loved him. She just hoped that she wasn't coming off as clingy or anything, the thought made her purr stop for a moment. She realizes that the movie is coming to an end, her mismatched gaze now fixated on the puppies in the final scene. Her whiskers twitched, they were so little and precious. Even if they weren't a mix of the parents, they were still cute. The spoon she had been using for the past few minutes hanging in her mouth. Now, Roxie wasn't one for going back on her words but just the mere thought of starting a family with Greed made her heart flutter and her insides churned with butterflies.
It got her thinking about earlier when he had been sobbing about Roan being his kid, her ears twitched for a moment before she would remove her spoon from her maw only to hold it in her paw briefly looking at her reflection. The movie was over and now there was just the end credits. She wanted to know yet she was afraid that it would startle Greed with how abrupt it would be or come out as such. She eventually opened her mouth looking up to him with a soft smile, eyes dancing with affection and love for him, her words soft, gentle, laced with a purr "I'm not usually someone who goes back on their word but... Maybe we could have one surprise tonight," There was a pause as she lashed her tail rather nervously unsure of how to go about this, her eyes on the bed for a moment before they would lock onto Greed's gaze letting out a nervous giggle "Greed, even if we've been together for just a few hours... I know that all I wanna do is be with you... I love getting lost in your eyes, it's like starring into a whole 'nother world... Unmapped and undiscovered. I love your smile even though you're a cocky son of a bitch. I love all of you, you're the night sky to my stars... I just love being with you." Once more she would take a moment for all of that to sink in.
She would sit up so her nose could gently press against his cheek, her ears perked forward as she would continue in a soft murmur "Would you move in with me and Roan? I'm sure he'll love to have you around but, not here in the hut. But a bigger home with more space, I've had my eyes on one for a while now... and I think you'd make it more of a home if you came to live with me. If you don't wanna then I totally understand, I just thought maybe it gets a little lonely at your place." She would lower herself a bit pressing her head to his chest being careful that her horns didn't end up poking him in the eye, there was silence at that time only for her to say a little more quietly "And maybe one last surprise but... Moreso a question really... Would you ever consider having a few kittens or cubs... With me?" She could feel her face heating up with embarrassment that she had really went and asked that. She couldn't help but purr at the sound of his chuckling, she could only hope that she would make a pretty good girlfriend for Greed or she'd make an attempt to do so. She hadn't realized it until now but whenever she was with the dark furred jaguar, he made her feel she was safe and nobody could hurt her or the both of them whenever they were together. She felt like she finally had all the puzzle pieces in her life now, none of them were lost anymore, and it made her feel so complete. So happy. The thought made her eyes sting a bit though she did her best in hiding away the tears, she didn't want to end up ruining the night for the both of them because of her crying. Her mind racing with things she wanted to tell Greed but she was sure if she tried she would probably burst out crying, a faint purr would escape her.
Hearing what he said next made her snort with amusement, she rolled her eyes at him nudging him with her shoulder only to brush pass his legs, taking the lead. She finds herself glancing around for either of her crocodiles not seeing them, she would glance over her shoulder seeing that Greed seemed to be cautious as well. It was cute in a way but, she knew that Kalayavan wouldn't be all that happy if he saw the jaguar setting a paw into their mother's home. She would say with a quiet voice unable to hold back a giggle "Don't worry, he can't fit in the hut like he used to... The only reptile that can is Lorelei and she's much smaller than the crocodiles." She perked her ears at the sudden sound of claws clicking against the floor, eventually the small chubby figure of the said tegu appeared. The tegu stared at Greed for a moment only to waddle away once more into the dark probably to go back asleep. Roxie's tail brushed underneath Greed's chin as she would lead them to her room, that's where she had most of goodies like the ice cream within her mini fridge. She'd have to restock soon, she opened it letting out a soft hum only to mew with a smile on haw maw "Make yourself comfortable, babe~,"
Eventually her eyes concentrated on the small shelf where she had most of her movies, she couldn't think of which one to watch. One caught her eye, a silver spoon resting between her lips, well, now it was her turn to show Greed how cheesy she was. She grabbed the movie, Lady and the Tramp, placing it into her DVD player and it wasn't long before the movie began to play with a nice song at the beginning. She turned the volume down a bit soon bringing over the tub of ice cream over, she took a spot next to Greed scooting up close to him until their pelts brushed against each other. The moment gave her a bittersweet feeling, she couldn't believe this was happening or more so, she didn't believe she would find herself watching movies with Greed after their disappearances. She sighed just feeling grateful, she would take the lid off the ice cream taking a spoonful of the cookie dough flavored treat. She watched Greed from the corner of her eye, it was always funny seeing how his eyes were basically plastered to the screen. She wondered if he had ever seen a television before, she shrugged the thought away indulging in the ice cream and movie.
Soon the romance bits of the movie were playing in front of the both individuals, Roxie could feel her heart racing a bit within her chest, her unoccupied paw moving a bit as she would attempt to place her smaller paw onto Greed's much larger one. A faint smile tracing her lips as her head leaned against his shoulder unable to hold in a purr, oh how she loved him. She just hoped that she wasn't coming off as clingy or anything, the thought made her purr stop for a moment. She realizes that the movie is coming to an end, her mismatched gaze now fixated on the puppies in the final scene. Her whiskers twitched, they were so little and precious. Even if they weren't a mix of the parents, they were still cute. The spoon she had been using for the past few minutes hanging in her mouth. Now, Roxie wasn't one for going back on her words but just the mere thought of starting a family with Greed made her heart flutter and her insides churned with butterflies.
It got her thinking about earlier when he had been sobbing about Roan being his kid, her ears twitched for a moment before she would remove her spoon from her maw only to hold it in her paw briefly looking at her reflection. The movie was over and now there was just the end credits. She wanted to know yet she was afraid that it would startle Greed with how abrupt it would be or come out as such. She eventually opened her mouth looking up to him with a soft smile, eyes dancing with affection and love for him, her words soft, gentle, laced with a purr "I'm not usually someone who goes back on their word but... Maybe we could have one surprise tonight," There was a pause as she lashed her tail rather nervously unsure of how to go about this, her eyes on the bed for a moment before they would lock onto Greed's gaze letting out a nervous giggle "Greed, even if we've been together for just a few hours... I know that all I wanna do is be with you... I love getting lost in your eyes, it's like starring into a whole 'nother world... Unmapped and undiscovered. I love your smile even though you're a cocky son of a bitch. I love all of you, you're the night sky to my stars... I just love being with you." Once more she would take a moment for all of that to sink in.
She would sit up so her nose could gently press against his cheek, her ears perked forward as she would continue in a soft murmur "Would you move in with me and Roan? I'm sure he'll love to have you around but, not here in the hut. But a bigger home with more space, I've had my eyes on one for a while now... and I think you'd make it more of a home if you came to live with me. If you don't wanna then I totally understand, I just thought maybe it gets a little lonely at your place." She would lower herself a bit pressing her head to his chest being careful that her horns didn't end up poking him in the eye, there was silence at that time only for her to say a little more quietly "And maybe one last surprise but... Moreso a question really... Would you ever consider having a few kittens or cubs... With me?" She could feel her face heating up with embarrassment that she had really went and asked that.
