Eulogy tested the name that the lion had said. Miller. She smile stretched across the tigress' face, her pinkish nose scrunching. "Yes sir, Miller. I don't know these lands and i really don't want to have to go through the.." she huffed, her ears swiveling back a tiny bit. "Humiliation of getting stuck in another mud hole."The lion had also mention the word Proxy and, if she had any, her brow would have furrowed. Eulogy guessed it was some sort of rank but she really didnt have the time to ponder on it; the tigress needed a bath. But impatience never got anyone anything, so she calmed her shuffling feet and let her ears rotate back to were they had started. "It is quite a pleasure to meet you Aurum, as it is all of you," she cooed. "If you cannot fly due to injuries, then don't." The woman shrugged, Eulogy would then add; which she had no place to say this but she did anyway. "When you think that you've healed more, stretch your self out sometimes.." the tigress blinked. "Just to make sure the muscles still work properly and that there were no permanent damages to the muscles or tendons. " She gave a small gasp, did she really just say that? Eulogy knew a little bit about what's inside bodies but not that much! OKay Eulogy, you can shut up now! Huh. It seemed as though they had another medically inclined soul in their midst. Occasionally, it felt like Tanglewood was hoarding all of the people who had any medical knowledge or inclination, just so that all the other groups wouldn't get the upper hand. Either that, or medically curious people just tended to gravitate naturally towards Tanglewood, God knows why. Perhaps it was all the trees? Maybe it just fit their aesthetic. Either way, when Eulogy began to speak up and give him advice about what to do once he started healing, the lion couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. It was far from the first time he had heard such advice, mainly thanks to Selby, Abathur, and even Roy when he got his paws on medical books that he could scan over for his Father's wellbeing. Still, it would've been rude to just outright tell the tigress he had heard it over and over before, so he just dipped his head politely, speaking in a warm tone, "Thank you, Eulogy. I will be sure to remember that when I'm feeling a bit more recovered. I will be sure to keep you updated on how it works out for me." He offered her a small smile, getting the feeling that she was a sort of kindred spirit. A similar type of worrier to himself who always offered up advice if they were capable of it. Aurum couldn't say that he was unhappy about that. After all, the group had a ton of troublemakers around, so it couldn't hurt to have people to combat that and make sure they didn't end up getting themselves killed. Glancing over at Miller, the proxy rumbled, "I'm going to head back to town then... I trust that you can help her out, since you offered, Miller. It was very nice to meet you Eulogy. I hope we can interact more in the future." He offered her another small smile and a friendly flick of his tail before he turned around, beginning to make his way back towards town. He'd already been patrolling for a while, and he could feel that familiar injured exhaustion beginning to pull at him. ( out!! ) template by orion

After a few second of smiling she had turned to Miller whom had asked if she knew the way, she didnt. But there was no need to say that because she could tell that he knew that she didnt know. Eulogy blinked at the man and stood up, her paws shuffling with anticipation; she was excited to go to the town and meet her now fellow Tanglewoodians. She walked over to the man and awaited his movement so she could follow him. "It was a pleasure meeting you Arum, i we can meet again in the future." She had to admit it did sound a bit cheesy. "Im ready when you are, Miller." Eulogy smiled and gave a small chuckle. "Can't wait to get a good bath!"(Exit. Thank you for accepting me Vathmos, Aurum, Miller, Abathur, and Suvi!) Re: Well ain't this just a ding dang darn mess! - Joining Attempt - THEM - 01-10-2020 [align=center][div style="text-align:justify;width:55%;font-family:verdana;"]"Aurum, you should probably... Yeah. Get some rest." Eulogy seemed to have a level of medical knowledge - she'd do well here, among the odd hoard of medics that seemed to gather within Tanglewood's borders. He supposed they needed as many as they could get, considering the number of small injuries that befell their clanmates (and larger ones, he huffs a little as he considers the bandages packed against Aurum's chest). There was even a good chance that she could join the official ranks, if she proved herself dedicated to the craft. He nods to the tigress, gesturing out towards the direction of town. Tanglewood was a massive stretch of land; it would take an hour at the very least to trek back to the village. Plenty of time to acquaint himself with a new member, he supposed, though part of him was uncertain as to whether Aurum would make it back alright with his injuries. (Somebody really needed to give the guy a day off. He'd ask Leroy, later.) "Alright, then, let's head out. I'll see the rest of you later." ooc: out! feel free to dm me if you'd like to have a private thread sometime!!! :^D |
