Re: paranoid in every paragraph -- explanation - nemhain. - 12-22-2019

In all honesty, Nemhain was a little disappointed that the reaction to her awakening had been so... lukewarm. On the other hand, she had gotten a couple of pretty damn good surprises in, and it seemed as though Rin was finally admitting that she really and truly needed help, which had been Nemhain's entire goal since she had been lingering silently in the background. Nemhain looked at Valerian with a bit of a disapproving look, but it wasn't because she thought poorly of him one anything of the sort. Instead, she just said simply, shaking her head a bit from side to side and shifting her huge feathers, "Such an offer... such a kind soul. You should not do such a thing, however. No violence should be exchanged here. You... you all, here. You are one group. Unified, strong. You must work together to defeat this threat. There should be no exchanging of blows between you all, I implore you." Thankfully, it seemed as though the others had the common sense and decency not to fulfill Valerian's request, instead choosing to focus on Rin and the desperation that the magna was feeling.

Tilting her head to one side, the massive bird slowly settled beside Rin, the persona's legs folding nearly beneath her as she pulled her wings in close. She was still rather large in this state, but she seemed more relaxed and less intimidating, just watching Playerone work on Rin with interest. Once a lull in the scene had come, Nemhain lowered her head to speak with Rin, her tail feathers flicking absently so that the balances hooked into them brushed together, letting out soft clangs, "The first step was this. The admission that you needed help. While you cannot force anyone to help you, you know these people. You know them to be your friends, your family. And deep down, you know that they would be willing to help you to the ends of the earth. They just needed you to be honest, and to be willing to admit you couldn't cling to the notion that you could protect them all against their will." She then gestured an arm out to them all, in particular Playerone, "Now... now they finally know what's going on. They can finally actually help you. As can I... and I am so, so very excited to finally be here. You will not believe how long I have waited for you to finally open up." Actually, it would probably be unsurprising to Rin how long it had taken her to open up, considering she had lived through it, but Nemhain wasn't really speaking literally.
