Hush noticed the way that Kilius seemed to silently seethe at the mention of the loss of his vision, and decided to file that away in the things to ask about later, perhaps when they were a little bit closer. After all, this was one of the longest social encounters he had ever had, and he didn't went to ruin it with pushy questions, or worse, have Kilius mad at him. He took note of the odd way that Kilius's eyes seemed to switch around in terms of what was lit up, and opened his muzzle to say something, bit was cut off by Kilius talking about his new task. Blinking, the golden feline glanced down and watched the other draw, silently wondering if he would be able to continue writing in the dirt if he ever went blind. He was ripped from his daydreaming when Kilius began to speak about the symbols again, and Hush glanced them over for a long moment before meowing, giving a firm shake of his head, "Well... I can't say I've ever seen anything like this, but that doesn't mean much. Pretty much the only symbols I'm really familiar with are the triforce and the mark of Hylia. I'm hardly any expert."

Noticing the way that Kilius attempted to rub the symbol away without much success, Hush leaned in a little bit, scattering the sand over the symbol in order to wash it away. When Kilius mentioned that his brother had begun to act strangely after finding the necklaces, Hushsound felt a small frown come to his face, one of worry and hesitance. He had only encountered strange forces that made others seem like they were acting strangely in the past if it was something truly evil, and his ears pinned back in slight worry, and aggravation. He could only hope that Fern wasn't evil or crazy or some other shit and wandering around The Typhoon's territory. Still, he didn't want to offend Kilius or anything like that, so he just noted that away, mumbling softly as he glanced off in the direction of Tanglewood's territory, "Vanished...? Well, like I said when you joined, I've never seen or heard from anybody named Fern. I wish I could help, but if he has just disappeared someplace here... well, he could've gone anywhere, honestly." He could still be somewhere within the territory of the Typhoon, or he could've been off hundreds of miles away – Hush honestly couldn't be true.

Hush felt an eternal groan echo through his head as Kilius made another sight joke, and he mumbled softly as he shook his head, his tail flicking from side to side behind him as he settled again, "Yes... yes, I get it, Kilius. I promise that if I see your brother at some point, I'll let you know. Since, you know, I can see him." He joked back softly, although his voice was soft and a bit hesitant, since he wasn't exactly the joking type most of the time. He then said, raising an eyebrow and tilting his head to one side as he questioned Kilius with a frown, "Trying to get away from you for two years? Why has he been trying to get away from you, if you're family? Aren't brothers supposed to stick together. I mean, I had somebody who was like a sister to me once, and we never tried to get away from each other. Occasionally we fought, but usually we made up, and we always watched each other's backs..." He supposed that perhaps Kilius was showing that he was watching Fern's back by looking for him, but... it still seemed odd, for Fern to be trying to run away from Kilius.

Too old to follow his brother around? A small frown came to Hush's face at the thought, wondering how that could be possible. Siblings were always supposed to stick together, right? Just because you got older and possibly drifted apart didn't mean that you had to force each other apart. He wanted to say so out loud, but suddenly Kilius was pushing himself upwards, making Hush blink in surprise and half to look up at the taller male. When Kili asked him if he wanted to go for a wall, Hushsound blinked in faint surprise, feeling the ghost a blush settle on his cheeks. Shifting his paws a little bit, he nodded before mumbling in his little scratchy and nervous tone of voice, "Oh... yes! Yeah, a walk sounds nice to me, and I'm happy to walk with you if you need my eyes." He was a bit flustered, but he wasn't sure entirely why. After all, it wasn't necessarily a date offer or anything. People went on walks together plenty of the time, as friends.

When Kilius turned towards the water, Hush turned with him, falling into step beside the other male and letting out a soft purr. Their pelts brushed together a bit as Hush walked with the larger male, just so that Kilius would know he was still there – although it was ultimately unnecessary, considering the fact that his blade could still be heard clanging loudly against his side. When Kilius mentioned that he had a joke, Hush's heart immediately sank, worried that Kili was about to make another blind joke at his own expense, but then the other continued on, making Hush giggle softly when he was done with the joke. Hush really did like it, when it wasn't at the expense of the other male, at least. Brushing his tail against Kilius's, Hush said with a smile and a laugh, "Alright, that one was actually funny. I like them more when they're not making fun of yourself~" He didn't know exactly how Kilius had lost his vision, but he couldn't imagine that it was pleasant, and he didn't really like the thought of Kilius joking about something so sad.
