His companions made it seem like such an honorable place. Maybe it was, in it's one ways, but that didn't change the facts. "Your right, nothing is free." the young soldier would answer as he approached, a goliath of a canine with the physique of a lion. His black and gold mottled fur was midlength and thick like a wolves, but around the neck it was thicker, almost mane-like. He moved with an unrushed pace through the crowd and the group seemed to make way for him, either respect or fear pushing them aside. "There are no free rides in The Pitt. If you want to stay here with us you'll have to learn to become more than what you are now- we can't have some suicidal dark cloud sitting around all day doing nothing." Blunt, yes, but Fourth had never been the sort to tread lightly around sensative topics. "If you can do that, you can stay."
They weren't the sort Jervis would likely approve of, but Fourth hadn't been lying when he said the other could choose to do more than what he was doing now, Get a few meals in him, let him wander to get the layout of shit, and at the very least he could probably be a servant of some kind, though there was no reason they couldn't do more if they wanted to. Just depended on how much effort they were willing to put in. Fourth wouldn't cry if they chose not to stay, the Pitt just wasn't meant for everyone.
