Had she said something wrong? No. No, it seemed he was just busy thinking over the pair's next moves. And she couldn't blame him. Joining a group was a task that came with commitment, whether one liked it or not. If they didn't want to, she wouldn't blame them either. However, he did agree to join. The polar bear nodded her head at that. "It's a-okay. We're a growing group, so new faces are always welcome. You'll both fit right in with all the other newbies." She chuckled slightly at that. [color=#73B1B7][b]"Welcome to the Ascendants. Anyhow, if you guys need or a tour or have any questions, I'd be happy to help with both." He didn't seem bothered by it, taking it all in stride; their auras were already a give away to their otherworldliness, after all. Luckily, there were others there to take over some of the small talk, and he glanced briefly at Hazel at her explanation of the Ascendants. Good. At least she seemed to have settled better than he had initially thought she might. "Bastille," he supplied, seeing how these twins wanted their names, gaze flickering briefly to Mizar at Alcor's words. The girl hadn't said a word the entire time, but he supposed they likely were bonded or simply sharing telepathic thoughts. Whatever. Bast didn't really care, and he nodded as he turned back towards the Observatory. [b]"Right. I'm sure we're all headed back in that direction anyway, so we can show you to camp." Re: and they fell from the heavens // joining, open - sirius - 05-06-2018 Mizar wasn't listening anymore. She never did have a good attention span. The brighter of the two stood up, a butterfly catching her eyes. She crouched down, tail swishing. She went to pounce, and promptly missed. She cried out in distress, chasing after it for a few pregnant moments before she looped back around to her brothers side, where she skidded to a stop. Friction stopped her bottom first, where she promptly flopped over onto her face. Man. She liked falling on her face today!
Mizar hopped back up at the mention of travel. They were leaving? Already? Okay! The light blue cat stood up and launched herself forward to in the direction Bastille motioned to. The big building? ... Oh! Right! They said they lived there, no? That meant more friends to meet! She giggled as she hopped on rocks and ... tried... to walk on bushes. She fell in with a distressed screech. She winced. Brambles hurt. She slowly climbed out of the bush, flopping onto her back. G-go on without her. She'll take ten. His right eyes glanced back at them- they were going to come, right? At least, the one.. Bastille would. And Suiteheart. His gaze stayed on his sister as she ran along, lips twitching into a fond smile. When she fell into the bush, he quickened his pace and moved forward to nudge at her in an attempt to help her up. "Come on, you're okay. We won't go without you." "SPEECH" |
