Re: BLUE MOON // night of stars event - Luciferr - 05-02-2018 Hymn of Ruin LUCIFER GRIMM — TYPHOON — STRIKER — VERY DIFFICULT He paused midstride to nod and motion her to follow with him then, one wing extended slightly in an almost sheltering way - more of an afterthought but as soon as the words had left Lilypoise's mouth, Lucifer had shifted gears. oh boy, family troubles - yes he could quite understand something like that, his own both past and present were a rather interesting bunch in itself - Lucifer offered one of the teas to her as he moved to curl up on his side, using his greater bulk as a shield almost for Lily to shelter in should she need. his voice was low enough only for her to catch it "say no more, I understand" settling his elbows down took some dong, the ridged spines and strange space-like fluttering miasma near them had to be manouvered carefully to avoid scraping into the floor below - he cast a glance around "Mhm, at least they left plenty of snacks out" considerate at least. Re: BLUE MOON // night of stars event - ★ HAZEL - 05-02-2018 ★ WHEN MY HEART IS MADE FROM GOLD AND FORGIVENESS SEEMS TOO BOLD
Hazel’s ability to sleep deeply or lightly varied, to be honest. It depended on how tired she was earlier in the day. And recently, the DIY renovation of her own room and keeping up with Arion had kept the young girl tired and bone-weary. That night, she had all but collapsed in her nest of blankets, pausing her project for the morning. That was...until Starry’s call. Hazel had more or less jolted out of her slumber, startling her colt, who slept a few feet away. (He had refused to sleep outside, okay, even though it was a better idea in every sense.) After murmuring a quiet comfort to Arion, she struggled to find her paws, stumbling out her door after her clanmates. She paused to rub the sleep away from one eye. Suddenly, there was a crackle of cold light: Starry’s electricity. Hazel startled, feeling the static thicken the air around her. Still in a half-awake state and struggling to identify where the glow and sudden spark of energy came from, she shifted her weight backwards as if to take a step in that direction, only to find someone directly behind her. Turning, Hazel noticed with slight embarrassment that it was Bastille, who already looked unhappy to be up. An unintelligible sound of apology fell from her lips, followed by a sleepy “sorry.” She could have said more, but her attention was snapped back to Starry, who, the more she woke up, was identified as the person who was the cause of the electricity. Only slightly overwhelmed, Hazel sat, catching the tail-end of Starrynight’s announcement. Drowsiness overcame her puzzlement and curiosity, and she instead focused on the telescope as it rose steadily from its base. Part of her wanted to look through it, and the other part of her wanted to curl up where she was and fall back asleep. Indecisive, Hazel blinked luminescent, glowing golden eyes at the telescope and night sky above, sleepily curling her tail over her paws. Interestingly, the girl had a telling aura, and Bastille might actually be willing to speak to her. She didn't seem interested in leaving her Clanmate, however, and Bast wasn't intrigued enough to make conversation. Besides, he was probably going to-- Jerking in surprise, Bast blinked as someone -- no, Hazel -- bumped into him. He looked back at her with a slight tilt of his head, blinded once more by the sheer force of her aura, and simply offered a shrug. "Uh, it's fine," he mumbled, glancing away from her. She seemed tired, but Bast didn't really look long enough to see if there was anything else bothering her. |
