my black swan - onision - darci - 10-14-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"]It was around this time did he wish he stayed home in Alaska. The aurora borealis had always held a special place in his family and was always the highlight of the year. Even back in Russia could Victor remember the green and blue lights dancing across the black sky. How he remembered his days in Russia were a miracle as he was only a couple months old before he and his family were bought by his human and shipped out to Alaska. Over the years did he gradually start to loose the ability to speak his foreign language, but his accent remained ever so slightly. His sister, on the other hand, could speak it as fluently as ever. Victor always held a slight envy for his sister, especially after she took up his mantle as champion of the Iditarod when he was forced to retire thanks to his injury. With the swelling in his leg having gone down, Victor decided it was time to do something about his old injury. While he considered going back to Alaska to enlist the help of his owner, he knew that would be illogical. Even so, Victor knew if he showed back up at her door step would she more than happy to fix him, but he would have to stay in order to recover, and that was not an option. Having been promoted, the canine had a responsibility now, even if it was minor. He had a reputation to uphold. Leaving the comfort of the island, he noted how cold the atmosphere got the further away he got. He was happy to feel the cold, and the chilly drizzle of rain that sent the land into a depressive state brought back old memories. Victor loved the cold and rainy days as it reminded him of home. Apart of him wished his sister and brother would have come with him. Being the middle child, Victor was usually stuck as the punching bag for his older brother, but the silver and white male had no problem putting Aleksander in his place. Once punch was all it took to send his brother scurrying off in a hurry. Victor was not very confrontational, but he knew when words were no longer useful. Having grown use to the warm climate of the island, the chill in air caught him off guard. Shedding all of his heavy winter fur, he was not left with much. His body shivered, teeth slightly clattering. Picking up his pace into a light gallop, his muscles began to warm up, but not by much. It had not been that long ago did he try to join the Ascendants, but he was happy when he switched plans and went to the Typhoon. He was happy there, even if his happy-go-lucky personality stuck out like a sore thumb. Failing to notice the border, (how, he was not sure) Victor crossed right over, looking to find a bit of shelter from the freezing rain. Re: my black swan - onision - ONISION. - 10-14-2018
Onision was born in the Ascendants, birthed from two vampires that had fallen further in love after countless years of marriage. He was half of the litter two he was born from, his sister a much more calm entity compared to him. He was older than her, but he held more resistance to the coos and murmurs of others. Everyone fawned over the white pelt of his sister, admiring her, while Oni merely got over such things. He was never fawned over, never picked at for his dirty coat. He had taken on his foul mouth from his mother Suiteheart, his cocky attitude coming from the fact that he was constantly jealous of those around him. Why couldn't he just.. Be free? Why did he have to live up to the Mikaelson name? But Oni understood now. He wasn't meant to stand up to the Mikaelson name, he was supposed to make his own reputation from it. Little Icarus, he was. Asshole, he was. No matter, Oni had better things to think about. The newly made Observer and Lieutenant had pushed through brambles, the chilly wind of fall against his thin chocolate pelt. He was used to it, though, and merely continued to walk along the borders, surverying it with a sense of peace. A sense of calming that only Oni could have while also being a total dick. Then, he saw white. A flash of white, and then fur. Onision sped up his steps, scarred body carrying himself over to the source. A husky, walking with puffs of cold air eminating from his breath. Wasn't this breed supposed to love the cold? Who cares. Oni stepped out of the bushes he had been hiding in, a stern look on his face as he spoke in a harsh, bitter tone. With an inhale through his nose, he took in the scent before him. "The Typhoon, huh.. I hope you're here to beg for our forgiveness, or else, I suggest you turn around, Лицо рыбы." Onision rumbled out angrily, a grumpy scrunched up grin on his face. A silent warning, but it was only because he was so short tempered. It was only because he had orders to kill the enemies who walked onto their borders. Oni could never kill someone, he knew. all you give me is a heartbeat —

[W]isker Re: my black swan - onision - darci - 10-14-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"]He knew what it was like to live up to the family name. Being apart of a prodigy litter, Victor had a lot riding on him as soon as he entered this world. Both of his parents held high titles, known throughout sled racing for setting record times over and over. His father and mother had tense rivalries between one another, racing for opposing teams and even coming in as a tie more often than most. Somehow, the two found love inside of their rivalry and ended up becoming married and so on and so forth. Their children were expected to make history such as that, but things did not turn out so well. His brother was too strong and bulky to be a lead dog, thus he was cast into the roll of the wheel dog, the one in the very back of the team. Victor was the one who everyone expected to set higher records and carry on the family legacy, but in the end, it had been his sister. His family was the loving type, but they expected their children to be champions. Upon Victor's injury and retirement, he had been fearful that his family would overlook him and label him a failure. In the end, that was not the case. Both of his parents were supportive of him and loved him no less. A happy childhood was what he had, one he was fortune to have. Thankfully, he had found a place where no one would recognize his surname. Even so, he did not typically state his last name when he introduced himself. It was a risk he was still afraid of taking. At times did Victor consider even changing it, but he knew that would be disrespectful to his family. He was part of his family he was proud of, but it was evident that the life he wanted was not in his plans. The voice had caught him off guard, spooking him a bit. Pivoting on his back legs, the silver canine quickly turned to face the source of the noise. He knew this guy, or at least recognized him. Victor could not help but smile at the threat. There was a clear size advantage on his end, but knew better than anyone that this guy's groupmates would be on him like bees on honey. He found discomfort in how hostile some of the groups were towards each other, but the husky could not care less about group relationships. Though, the Russian words did catch his attentions, even if they were an insult. He did, however, find a bit of humor in the supposed insult. He was a bit amazed he was able to still understand the words. "Are you from Russian? he asked, evading the threat rather slyly. Victor had yet to meet anyone from the country that was not kin to him. "I think we've met before. Were you the cranky one who yelled at me when I first joined?" He was not sure even if he joined back then, but he had the memory of a fruit fly, so it was not much of shock he could not recall. Re: my black swan - onision - ONISION. - 10-15-2018
Mikaelsons were a long line of vampires, destined to live thousands of years and never die unless their soul had been ripped from their body. No mortal being could ever do that, so Onision was stuck in this world for thousands of years then, he supposed. When Victor replied with the question, avoiding his own, Onision fell for the tactic, deprived from communication after all the months of just.. Working, leading, following. "Yeah, I'm Russian-Latin." Onision rumbled softly, glancing around with a single blue iris before motioning with his tail for the husky to follow him. "Come on, you idiot. They'll kill you if they see you." Oni growled stubbornly, too stubborn to admit that he actually wanted the company, enemy or not. This guy wasn't a threat to him, and even if he was, Aloysius could take care of him for his Host. "You joined and then left. Didn't stay long, did you?" Oni grumbled, sitting beside the Starpool idly. The glowing water was eye-catching, but he ignored it to turn to Victor instead. "Why are you even this far out, man? You should be back with those alcohol-drinking fuck-faces." Oni grunted, his tail thumping against the ground. all you give me is a heartbeat —

[W]isker Re: my black swan - onision - darci - 10-15-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"]"Exotic," said the dog in a jesting manner. He had to admit, that was on odd combination, but it was not really worth thinking too much about. Catching on, Victor followed after a moment's hesitation, a bit cautious. It would, to be quite frank, not surprise him if he was going to be led to some ambush for he did not know the other male at all. While that was a possibility that crossed his mind, he had a gut feeling that told him otherwise. Nonetheless, the husky swallowed his worry and went with it. "I don't doubt it." He muttered under his breath followed by a light sigh. Why everyone could not get along was beyond him, but he never really learned by the two groups hated one another so much. In the end, Victor usually set aside the stereotypical image the other groups had place on the pirate group and was generally kind to anyone who reciprocated it back at him. Though, if anyone got smart with him did the male more than willing to put them in their place. The Siberian husky snorted. "No. This place wasn't very exciting, even if I hadn't even been here for a day." It was an odd vibe he got that this place was just not for him. Thankfully had he gone to Typhoon. He was starting to grow attached to place and began to develop what one would simply label as loyalty. It was a bit of an odd sight to see Victor actually pledge loyalty to a specific place, but there was a first time for everything. "They're not that bad, well, some aren't." There was a few members he was far from fond of, but he learned to tolerate them. The more he thought about it, he really had yet to form any personal relationships with anyone. Mainly did he stick to the acquaintance playing field. Gradually was he starting to know a couple individuals a bit more, but nothing too in depth. "Just out for a light job and missed the border. Still not use to where everything outside of home." Re: my black swan - onision - ONISION. - 10-15-2018
Home, something that felt like Onision should know. He should know that the Ascendants was his home, he was born here, but he always had his doubts about that. Without his family here, it just felt empty. All of his earnings were for naught, everything he had ever done useless now. He had once ranked up to the rank he was now to impress his mothers, to impress Alexander, but it was all for naught. Alex fell in love with him, not his rank, and Oni was satisfied with that. His mothers died, on the same day, at the same time. It was a tragic event, one that Oni didn't like to think about. A single blue iris hardened when Victor spoke, his jaw stiffening slightly. Exotic, it was true. He was many things. Russian, Latin, a Vampire, a Werewolf. His bloodline was a mess, but he couldn't control that. "Et consolabuntur Deorum qui diversis." Onision mumbled out, shaking his head slightly. "You would think that I would have attacked you on first sight, but I'm not in the mood for it. Half of the people here piss me off, I don't want to draw attention." Oni mumbled, scratching behind his ear idly, his piercings jingling from the movement. The Gods had forsaken him, but Oni was never one to dwell for too long on that. "I heard if you join them, you gotta drink this weird alcohol. Sounds like a mess." He chuckled, shaking out his fur against the chilly wind of the night. "It's not safe to walk around at night, Victor." Onision meowed stubbornly, his ears twitching as he scraped at stone. The chocolate felidae wanted nothing more than to just lay down and sleep for once, but insomnia kept him up constantly, urging him to continue walking- just walk. "Light job? You must have been daydreaming to just walk over our borders, man." Onision laughed softly, his tone taking a more joking turn. For once, he wasn't being a dickhead, surprise! Well, in the morning, he'd have to pretend this guy wasn't here in the first place. Else he'd get chewed out for letting an enemy pass the borders, and even socializing with them? Yeah, no. all you give me is a heartbeat —

[W]isker Re: my black swan - onision - darci - 10-16-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"]Running the string of foreign words in his mind, he was unable to decipher them. Doubting it held much importance to him, he let the word through one ear and out the other. "How very kind of you," he laughed, "though, I don't think it'd be a fair fight." Even though there was a rather large size difference between them, Victor was inexperienced with fighting, or so he thought. It was no lie that he could hold his own, but he had to let his mind run blank. He lacked strength, but he had more stamina than he knew what to do with. This guy reminded him of Bakugou, though he seemed to be a bit more mellower than the fireball back home. He had come to enjoy teasing the ragdoll, but he knew when enough was enough. "Lucky me." Victor gave a shake of his head before he sat down, his bushy tail curling around his side. "Not that I know of." Giving it some thought, he had never seen anyone drink while he was there. Sure, he had smelt it, but everyone seemed to mind their manners. Victor had no problems drinking, but he had a tendency to lose a bit of control. He remembered the first time he and his sister had gotten drunk: she sat in the corner crying about who-knows-what while Victor, well, he couldn't remember what exactly he did. It was odd he could remember his sobbing sister but not himself. Although, he swore his brother tried to smother him once. That, he could believe. "I'm a big boy, I think I'll be alright." "Jog," Victor corrected. The air here must have been getting to him. He shrugged lightly, eyes adverting to the water for a brief moment. "You could say that." The silver and white male always found himself being dragged back to his glory days when he ran, a weird and bad habit he needed to break. It was just the nostalgia that came with the feeling of exerting himself. Re: my black swan - onision - ONISION. - 10-16-2018
He's not safe enough for you to be able to stay around for much longer, Host. Aloysius' voice rang out in the chocolate felidae's head, and Onision seemed to space out for a moment, his single cold iris going blank for a bit as he listened. "I can handle myself just fine. If something happens, you can take over." Oni responded to the male mentally, outwardly rolling his eyes before he kicked back into reality. With a few more blinks of his eye, Onision focused back on Victor. What was he talking about? Ooh, yeah. The Typhoon, him going on a 'jog'. "Right, right. Jog. My bad, man." Oni snickered audibly, rolling his shoulders as he stood up, standing atop a stone not too far off, testing his weight on it idly. "So? Do you like it there? You haven't crawled back to the Ascendants yet, so I'm assuming so." Onision meowed, his tail twitching in amusement. How did people even socialize with others? He was terrible at this. It sounded like he was interrogating the poor dude. all you give me is a heartbeat —

[W]isker Re: my black swan - onision - darci - 10-17-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;"]"I do," he replied before drawing in a shallow breath. While it was not, to say the least, the life of the party, he was rather content. "I haven't been here long enough to tell much of a difference between the two." The Typhoon made the Ascendants out to be some type of malice group that went out and killed children for a living. While he doubted that was the case, he tried to not let his home's bias opinions skew his own view on the world. Victor wanted to have his own mind, though, he could see how easily it could be to become brainwashed. "Why do they hate each other so much? The Typhoon and this place, that is." Did Onision even know? The other was far younger than he, but he knew that age did not account for much more than time. He had met children who were far more mature than any adult and vice versa. It simply depended on the individual. Re: my black swan - onision - ONISION. - 10-17-2018
"Clashing opinions. Our clans are the opposite of each other ideal-wise. The hatred between the two groups date back before I was even born. I believe it was over some deaths, or something. Captures, I dunno. I remember there being a raid when I was younger, though. The Typhoon raided us head-on." Oni meowed, his tail twitching as he thought over just what exactly happened to make the two groups clash. Why did they hate each other? Nobody would ever truly know. "We're not so peace-seeking as we try to make ourselves seem to be. We're.. Vigilantes, if I were to put it correctly. Lawful?- Not so much. We just do what we believe is right, if it brings justice to those in our clan." He meowed, laying down to tamper with his lip between his teeth idly. //rushed! all you give me is a heartbeat —

[W]isker |
