black paper moon / bakugou - Character Graveyard. - 08-25-2018 The sun had been disappearing into the ocean, when Kirishima had sat down on the beach. The skies were pink, white and gold. It was as if the sky's colors and the ocean were a painting. He'd managed to convince a few NPCs to carry him down to the beach, as he wasn't unable to walk on his own. A tired expression on his face, he'd blink and he would draw one of his front paws over the small amount of black fur on the very top of his head. He would open his mouth to yawn, but he would flinch as a spike of pain ran through his tongue. The wound had closed and the bleeding had stopped, but it was still painful. He would shake his head and blink once more before attempting to stand up, gritting his teeth as he fell down, his legs giving out. Kirishima would have to give himself a few more days to heal, before he would try to do anything. For now, all he could do was rest and hope time would heal his injuries. tags :: updated 8/23: Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Grey - 08-26-2018 The ocean's kind of scary. There's always this feeling of something lurking beneath the depths, great wide jaws hissing from within the dark, murky reaches of the waters. When he stares at them, watches the strange calmness overlap and descend, contrast and conflict, there's always a mix of emotions that intertwine and entangle. He's unsure whether to feel afraid or at awe. If he stares long enough at the shallow pools, sometimes he hears voices and faces which ripple from the clashing foam. Still, he always finds himself being drawn to the beach like as if it were a magnet and he were the helpless piece of aluminium foil. He'd be pulled towards it, left and right, forced to stare at the unpredictable predictability of the waves. Hah, the unpredictable predictability - antithetical by their very nature, a breathing contradiction.
Eijirou's alone again. His eyes stare at his injured friend rather solemnly, gently biting the bottom of his lip as if he felt nervous to approach him. He should have been there. He should have kept track of his friend. If it...if it weren't for him concerning himself over his stupid stone knives, maybe he would have been able to stop the horrible tragedy which had befallen upon Kirishima. His heart thunders painfully. He wants to move towards his friend, sit beside him and give him his usual snide, but he hesitates in his own piling guilt. It was like the time All Might had to retire. It was all his fault. If he had been stronger, he wouldn't have needed saving. His head... his head felt like it was being crushed by the sheer weight of gravity, squeezing both temples towards each other. A shaky breath escapes him suddenly, wincing before doing his best to recollect himself. He finally brings himself towards his red-furred friend. "Yo. You ain't gonna accidentally drown yourself are you? That'd be pretty funny if you did." I'd fucking kill you if you were that clumsy. Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Character Graveyard. - 08-26-2018 The ocean was home to many strange creatures. The thought of it was slightly intimidating though it also sounded very cool. He had thought about trying to swim in the ocean, but he had been hesitant about it. Sometimes when he stares at the ocean, he could see his memories from the old world. The entrance exam, getting accepted into U.A, and so on until he had died. Katsuki. Whenever he was around his friend, there was always a warm feeling bubbling up in his chest and for some reason, his heartbeat became faster. He had tried to force the feeling to go away but it never did. Sanguine-eyes would blink before he would turn to look at Bakugou, offering a shark-like grin. He would quickly notice the other releasing a shaky breath before walking up beside him. Nah. But I will do this. Kirishima would move one of his front paws into the water and he would attempt to splash the ragdoll with it. tags :: updated 8/23: Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Grey - 08-28-2018 He doesn't know if he can relate to that warm, bubbling feeling that Kirishima experienced. After all, the ragdoll felt a lot of emotions, sizzling away from beneath his sin, trying to crawl out from all the creaks and cracks of his flesh and fur. Some days, he's convinced himself he'll go mad one day. He'll become so bottled up from all these unknown qualities swimming about his mind that eventually he'll explode. He'd scream to the world until his own ears popped, destroy the word with a boom of his sound, his own... - Bakugou finches at the wave of his friend's paws, droplets of water touching his face before he, on instinct, creates a dreadful wall of flame. It seers the molecules which were directed towards him, turning immediately into steam. His eyes were not flickering the same crackling flames they usually did, but were instead like dying coals, lit only by the embers which dared to breathe in the loveless landscape. "You fuckin' challenging me?" Bakugou snarks, suddenly roaring to life when he jumps directly into the water, kicking at the shallow tide in Kirishima's direction. "Bring it, sore-eyes."
Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Character Graveyard. - 08-28-2018 Kirishima often doesn't have a lot going on inside of his mind. He had a habit of letting his emotions out, so they wouldn't bottle up and threaten to overflow and erupt suddenly- though he would force himself to push away the more sad emotions that could possibly bring him and his friends down. With a small laugh and a shark-like grin on his maw, Kirishima would jump to his paws as Bakugou sent a medium-sized wave from the swallow tide over his body and drenching him in cold water. He would release a sneeze, before he would attempt to jump forward and playfully splash Bakugou with some of the water once more. He would then sit down in the water and watch to see what the Privateer would do next. tags :: updated 8/23: Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Grey - 09-07-2018 [ OOC ] sorry for my late reply. i got hella busy this week and almost forgot this was a thing! when abouts do you intend them to discover their mental bond? uwu
The unknown had always been man's greatest enemy. Homo sapien: wise man. A fool was often someone who charges in without knowing, without realising the biggest threat. Unfortunately, the danger of the unknown was true in a lot of cases. It was what one couldn't see that is most dangerous and it irks him to know so. Yet no matter how hard he tries to tune in to his sizzling emotions which sear at his mind, crippling him, he still can't understand them. His chest hurts sometimes. It hurts so much he thinks he's going to have a heart attack, crushing his beating organ as if his own lungs had inflated to a size that there was no longer room for his heart. Usually it comes about when he sees Kirishima and the pain of the past floods him. Not even his fire can burn away the tide of thoughts, falling upon him like a tsunami. There's been a number of times he's just felt as if he will suddenly cry to his friend that he was sorry, sorry he hadn't been there for his friend but then remembering there was no point in staring at the past with a critical gaze. Unless he can time travel, there is no point for sulking over anything. It admittedly frustrates him. Kirishima's laugh and smile has lost Bakugou in a sort of trance, watching the joy upon his lips in almost slow motions. The ragdoll's own expression was the same as before: brows slightly furrowed, jaw agape, eyes slanted in a challenging gleam. But his mind has changed, fixated and possessed by his own friend's happiness that he is awoken suddenly by the splash of water, no wall of fire to protect him from the droplets which cooled and steamed on his hot skin. With his forepaw, not thinking too deeply about it, he slides it across the water and raises it quickly to send a shower of droplets Kirishima's way. There's a little less oomf in this one, a loss of the initial energy Bakugou had had before. He looks at the water to stare at the way the way his own paws became distorted by the water, rippling from his movement. "You have earth elementals, don'tcha?" the male asks suddenly, cocking an inquisitive brow at the red tom, "Did you use it to protect you?" Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Character Graveyard. - 09-07-2018 //You're fine! Take as long as you need to post! Would you be cool w/ them discovering it in this thread? >:0 Kirishima did not like to think about the unknown. It didn't scare him- just the idea of thinking about it came off as weird for him, so he preferred to not think or talk about it much. As for thinking others were fools, he didn't consider anyone to be a fool, if he had to be honest. He didn't see Bakugou as a fool or an idiot. He saw him as courageous when others couldn't even do anything. The pain of the past always haunted Kirishima, even if he tried to push his bad memories to the very back of his mind. He often thought of the time when a villain threatened all of the students in his school and he hadn't been able to do anything to help. Mina, however, had been able to stand up and defend the others. Getting into UA had revived his confidence and he felt like there was nothing that could break his confidence nowadays. He felt strong and like he was capable of helping others. The male found himself staring into his friend's sanguine eyes, the playful grin remaining on his maw as he glanced. He liked the color of Bakugou's eyes. They were a vibrant shade of red, like his own, though Bakugou's were brighter then his own eyes. He blinks as the sudden shower of droplets fell upon his head, landing on his face and dripping down his chin. Then, Bakugou's sudden question throws him off-guard and he blinks in slight puzzlement. "Yeah, I have earth elementals and yes, I use it for self-defense, though I could also use it for attacks." tags :: updated 9/07: Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Grey - 09-16-2018 [ ooc ] feel free to bump when i forget to reply or this thread goes onto second page because i don't look at unread threads, i actually look on the front page ahaha. also, i'm happy to have them discover in this thread! maybe thoughts and then later it develops to physical pain and stuff the closer they get?
At Kirishima's reply, the reaver stiffens in discomfort and mild irritation. "And yet you got that badly injured," the male growls between clenched teeth, doing his best to hide his intense concern. There are enemies in the midst, enemies willing to injure for the sake of it. After all, they could have just killed his friend then and there. What would he have done then? He can't just cry or weep. It will do nothing but cement the pain, root it within his heart. I can't lose you again, he thinks, distraught from the concept. Bakugou puffs his chest, taking in a deep breath and trying his best not to appear bothered and shaken up every time he saw his friend's injuries. "You should get a body guard or somethin'. Maybe a pet? An animal that will look for help or fight for you if things go wrong." He just wants to rid of the guilt that floods over him, makes him feel as though he is drowning with water blocking his ears left and right. Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Character Graveyard. - 09-16-2018 //Noted & sounds good to me! owo Upon seeing the Reaver stiffen in his discomfort and irritation, Kirishima would blink in concern towards his friend, before he listened to him speak. He knew that he would upset others very badly if he just suddenly got killed one day but he doesn't have any intention of dying again anytime soon. Upon hearing Bakugou mention something about getting a bodyguard, Kirishima would suddenly snap back to reality. That was actually pretty smart. He'd seen a few large eggs lying around on the beaches, but he didn't want any creature getting angry with him for taking any of the eggs away. "I think I saw a couple of eggs on the beach the other day, they might've been abandoned. We could snatch one and see what hatches from it?" The Striker would suggest, allowing a rather sly-grin to grow on his maw. Re: black paper moon / bakugou - Grey - 10-11-2018 Eggs are not something he pays much attention to. He doesn't eat them, doesn't use them, and most of the eggs he ever saw were the broken ones left over from cooking. That being said, when the male mentioned finding eggs on the beach, Bakugou immediately assumed them to be turtle ones. Turtle eggs would make sense. They were surrounded by the ocean, there was bound to be shelled creatures somewhere, swimming about and coming to shore to lay their eggs. But Bakugou's theory immediately crumbled when he notes Kirishima's other words, stating they were rather large. A shimmer of interest refracted from his sanguine eyes, the ragdoll quickly attempting to hide his childlike amusement. What if it was a dragon egg? He could imagine the glory of raising one up. He would go to battle, lift a paw, and a beast of a predator would appear, breathing fire upon those he marked as foes. Well, he'll cut himself free from the fantasy, the ambition for power, for now. "Uh sure." He's not particularly afraid if the nest was guarded and in the case that it was, it was very likely that whatever was guarding it was the one who laid the eggs to begin with.
