Ever since they dropped the Typhoon, Atbash had seemed anxious to kickstart their new alliance with the Ascendants. It was understandable, considering the rough way they had dealt with being dropped. Really, Aizawa had never liked them, especially after they handled it like spoiled kids. It had been for the best that they let them go, since their alliance had very little substance. Really, it had seemed biased. Besides, they would just be asking for trouble, as they had two other clans on their back. They would have just gotten into the whole war they brought upon themselves. He had decided to set up this small event shortly after they established their ties, if only to ease his leader's mind. She was nervous for many reasons and he wanted to at least try and help empty her plate. So, he had worked on this all morning, setting it up so that they could all enjoy themselves and get to know their new allies. Once he was done, he seemed fairly pleased with himself, double checking it all just in case. His mind at ease, he takes a seat, waiting on the border for the arrival. Nor did he know about their new alliance with the Ascendants. He also didn't know that Atbash dropped the Typhoon to neutral. But, he didn't care much for politics or whatever anyways. The maned-wolf had noticed his former teacher sitting down, with what appeared to be some sort of game? A lopsided-grin on his maw, he decided to walk over and take a seat. "Aizawa-Sensei, what kind of game is this?" Re: we've got a mystery to solve — ally murder mystery - MirrorEdge - 07-23-2018
"It's so cold!" One of the first to arrive was Thea, and if anything, the young Fireball's reaction to snow was hilarious, as she scurried over as fast as she could across it, trying to avoid touching it for longer than possible. One of the first of the Ascendents to arrive, Thea really wasn't one for caring about first impressions, and it wasn't her fault her body wasn't that well-suited for the cold.
The Arabian leopard's fur was fluffed up as if that would help, and she settled down near the other two, noting the words Kirishima used to address the lion, but saying nothing of it. Maybe it was a sign of respect or something. Wasn't Aizawa second-in-command here or something? Still, she offered the two a grin as she chirped, "Hi! I'm Thea! Nice to meet you!" She paused for a few moments to take in exactly how cold it was, but didn't say a word. It would make her seem weak. And she didn't like seeming weak. "What game is it, anyways?" Madi still needed to track that alliance thread down to respond but in the meantime, Bastille trailed after the Snowbound messenger with a lazy yawn. He hadn't really wasted much time in following, taking him up on the offer to "find out" what the little game of choice was. Might as well try to foster more connectivity with them, seeing how they had been trending towards allies for a while. He liked Atbash more, knowing she'd dropped Pincher's ass, so might as well play nice. [b]"Yo," he provided, studying the two strangers. A pause. "I'm Bast," he supplied, deciding it was polite to introduce himself. Or something. It's the first time she's been out of the Ascendants' territory since first arriving, and she doesn't deny that she's on edge. She's on another clan's territory; it's unfamiliar and strange and she doesn't like not knowing where she is and how to get to where. She won't be surprised if she loses her way back home if she gets left behind. Still, Versailles trusts her brother and knows that he knows what he's doing, so she's quick to stick to his side. "I'm Versailles. You can call me Versailles." Re: we've got a mystery to solve — ally murder mystery - Dimitri - 07-24-2018

Dakota was in control as he approached the lot, wearing his glasses and pushing them up his nose. The tom looked over them with Dimitri’s green eyes, tail flicking as he sat down. ”What are... What are we doing?”

Re: we've got a mystery to solve — ally murder mystery - arcy - 07-24-2018 Izuku was kind of .. nervous, about the new alliance. I mean -- okay, Izuku was glad. He liked the Ascendants, he really did. But there was a lot of ally drama right now is what he's saying. Especially with the Typhoon. He hopes breaking off the alliance won't end in a straight-up war. Because that wouldn't be fun. .. But even if it did, Izuku supposes their allies are against the Typhoon, too. But. The ally event would hopefully give him a better idea of what everybody was like. They seemed fun enough, after all.
So, of course, Izuku is there. He'd dragged himself over and hoped to god it'd be something he could actually participate in. Which was .. questionable. But, y'know? Whatever it was, he was healed enough that he didn't care. Even if both of his front paws were hurt. So, upon arriving, Izuku just curls up on the ground next to Kirishima. He'd just .. have to rest his injuries for now, probably. Just in preparation or .. something. He'd potentially have to move around for this, see, and .. he doesn't have to explain himself, anyways. //Retro injuries Tensions were high in regards to The Typhoon, and Atbash was quite glad about Aizawa coming up with this event to hopefully distract everybody from what seemed like impending doom. "I'm participating!" Atbash chirped as she came over, giving a slight nod of greeting to Bastilleprisoner whenever she noticed him. bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi

As people gathered, he was pleased to see that it wouldn't be completely dead. He decided he wouldn't keep them waiting much longer, as they could reexplain to anyone who came in late. "I was setting up a simple game for our two clans to play together--but alas, someone has been murdered," he said, though his deadpan tone took some of the fun out of it, a paw motioning towards the 'dead' npc that laid beside him. They laid stiff, their back twitching as they giggled on the ground. He promptly smacked them on the back of the head, hissing at them to be quiet and that they were 'ruining it.' With the one playing dead now silent, he turned back to the members of Snowbound and Ascendants, eyes darting at all the faces before he spoke again. "Due to this, instead of what I initially had planned, we'll be trying to figure out who the murderer is. Clues are spread out across the territory, and you all will search in groups of two or more, to promote getting to know each other and all that," he goes on with disinterest, though he hopes they'll at least have a good time. "I'll give you all a few minutes to choose your partners. There should at least be one member from each clan, and once you find all five clues, come back to me and we will reveal the one who's done it," and with that, he falls silent, allowing them to find their partners.
