New Friends [p] - IVAN Z. BRAGINSKY - 05-20-2018 There was a small clunk at her door, followed by another. Then another. Ivan was using the edge of his skull to knock, his form depressed like a beaten puppy and his nose pointed down. He had gained weight since joining, at least. He would occasionally eat a smaller alligator, but that was the bulk of what he did for hunting. The rest he took from the pile. He was so used to being cared for my Anakin that the notion of hunting for other was lost to him. Zimavich rested his head against her home, waiting for her to open the door. He liked Amunet. He felt he could trust her and she was wary of him. He still smelled and his fur looked terrible though. He wasn’t meant for this climate. He was panting and the only comfort he found was wading in the swamp waters, where the moss and algae had turned his fur green. He smelled like fish and there were new scars from where the alligators had bit his legs- one of which, was fresh and slowly bleeding. He made a guttural sound in his throat, and wondered if she was even home. Re: New Friends [p] - COSMIIX - 05-22-2018 AMUNET G. FEMALE — FIREBRAND — HOVER FOR TAGS

She rose to her paws with her front talons scraping at the earth underneath her a bit before she would make her way to her door and slowly open it to see that idea was there, she stared at the bear only to realize that he was hurt would she frown with light concern though the smell was quite overpowering but she wasn't one to fret all that much recalling that one time her own kid had come home one day covered in camel dung since his friends had dared him to. Awful. She closed the door behind her slowly only to eventually offer the bear a smile that would tug at her lips "Hello Zimavich," He wasn't the best smelling bear but then again she couldn't blame him since he did have a long coat and his only resource of water was well, the water that they had here. This made her think of actually taking him a bath though she didn't know how well that would work though she would try her best determined to do the bear a favor (and her clanmates too). She would blink her pupilless golden pools at him for a brief moment before she went back into her home retrieving some marigold and cobweb "Here let me get that for you." If he would let her, she would start making the marigold into a poultice and gently attempt place it on the bite wound only after cleaning it off briefly with a slightly wet cloth, if successful then she would aim to put the cobwebs over the wound.Zimavich was a sweet bear when he wasn't trying to eat plastic eggs. She tilted her head a bit and would nod in the direction of her home, the back of it anyways "Come here, Zimavich." She would make her way over to the back of her home and would try finding what she needed she came across a hose and she blinked a bit turning it on and watching as the water flowed out, she made sure that it was clean and let it rest on the ground for a moment as she retrieved some shampoo that she had found underneath some gravel and a bucket. She supposed that she would have to use her own paws since she couldn't locate a sponge anywhere. "Come here, buddy. Let's get you cooled off and washed off," She said in her normally gentle voice. Re: New Friends [p] - IVAN Z. BRAGINSKY - 05-22-2018 Zimavich’s head shot up and his ears perked up. He showed off his yellow teeth in an unintentionally creepy smile. His head tilted and he looked down at his bleeding ankle. He made a “hum” noise and shrugged. He hadn’t even noticed it. If she wanted to fix it then that was okay. He lifted up his paw gingerly, letting her put the wrappings around it and only made a deep inhale at the sting. When she was done, he stepped forward to enter her abode, but found the door quickly shut on him. “Mm?” Why couldn’t he go in? Oh, were they going somewhere? Ivan followed her to the back of his house where the hose awaited. He made a questioning look on his face, glancing at Amunet. He approached the hose sniffed the water. He proceeded to lick it off the ground, and hummed lightly. It’s was cold and clean. He laid down on his chin, lapping up the water as it came out as she prepared. Zimavich was none the wiser. When she reapproached, he rolled over on his side and looked at her. ”You... and Fen... fen....” What was his name again? He put his paws together, asking her if they were together. Well, that was certainly a first since no one else had ever asked her if she or Fen were more than just friends. She didn't even know if her feelings for him were obvious, well, she figured they must have been in some way if Zimavich was asking such a question. She would start to scrub the bear with her paws being gentle with her talons as her paws soared over his back in rhythmic circles as she started wondering on how to answer his question "No, we are not together." She trusted Zimavich and she quite liked him, she trusted him well enough to hope that he wouldn't tell anyone else what she was going to tell him. Her talons would try to undo knots of fur and comb down matted bits of fur, the green slowly fading away as she would finally say in a calm voice "Yes, we are not together but I do like him. . . A lot. He's just so sweet." The jaguaress paused in her washing for a moment nodding slowly feeling her heart racing in her chest "I love him but, I'm too afraid to say anything because of past relationships. . ." She finally said with a shake of her head,Re: New Friends [p] - IVAN Z. BRAGINSKY - 05-29-2018 As she started to hose him down, Zimavich laid down on the ground, smiling as the water washed over him. What Amunet would quickly discover was that Ivan’s fur was thick and it was layered. The bits that had become matted were like bricks of fur. She was nearly better off shaving them. ”Oh,” He mused, humming and biting his lips. ”Past relationships?” Re: New Friends [p] - COSMIIX - 05-29-2018 AMUNET GHANA ✧ FIREBRAND — TANGLEWOOD — TAGS
Huh, the clumps were quite tricky so she frowned a bit trying to remember if she had something that could shave off the said clumps but she continued to be concentrated on the task before her. The jaguaress nodded slowly as he mentioned past relationships and she shrugged lightly trying her best to stay composed "Yes, past relationships or well more like past relationship without the s." She never liked talking about said relationship since it only made her antsy and uncomfortable, she still felt pathetic for even crying for the man she once loved "Arranged marriages aren't fun. I never quite liked the idea of it either but, alas, tradition seems to stick around and those born to it are not so lucky." She tried explaining to Zimavich shaking her a bit more wearing a slightly pained smile "But he swept me off my feet and I loved him. . . We got married and we had a child, Kunta Bekoe Ghana. He was such a lovely baby even if he didn't have siblings, I loved him so much." Just thinking of the once small cub made her heart ache within her chest "He was going to be King one day but, me and my husband did not see eye to eye. I wanted my child to live through his childhood whilst my husband wanted to show him and teach him at the age of just four months." Her ears would rest on the back of her skull and managed to undo a clump of matted fur before her paws went over the bears back once more and once she finished this task, she would hose him down once more, she felt hurt and angry just recalling how her son had been being prepped for the throne at such a young age "It got abusive at some point. . . One night, Kunta left and I haven't heard from him since. . . Ka. . . Kaatachi didn't stay long either, he left me. . ." The name felt better bitter on her tongue and she could feel bile forming in the back of her throat trying to lighten the mood "But I'm here now. I'm much happier here. I've met you, Beck, Morgan, Nayru, and Fenrisulfr. . ." She washed the bubbles from her talons with the water that dripped from the hose. "I'm safer here." © madi
Re: New Friends [p] - IVAN Z. BRAGINSKY - 05-29-2018 ”Kunta....” Zimavich was listening. It was just harder for him to pull subject matter. The name was..... familiar to him. “Anakin. Windclan. Tense. Nice.” His eyes blotted back and forth as he moved into a sitting postition, taking Amunet’s talons with him. Zimavich vaguely knew of the boy, but he couldn’t tell much else. Except. ”Blue. Girlfriend?” He said the last bit more like a question. The bear’s massive head turned, his good eye focusing on her face and a doubtful, worried expression coming to his face. He turned waited for her to remove her talons, then turned around, revealing his dirty front side, and attempted to envelop Amunet into a hug. He didn’t like the sound of the rest of her story. He quickly released her, moving back to laying down and letting her clean him. ”I.... had cub.” That was something he had tried to desperately hold onto. “April? Girl.” He didn’t remember her name, just that he had loved her and she wasn’t his.
