When the tiny wildcat had been a kitten, she made her own attempts at the trees.  She had everything for it.  The claws.  The balance.  Just not the eyes.  And while she climbed up and up just fine... Getting down proved too daunting.  It still made her uneasy.  However bitter she felt with herself.  Holding onto a fear of falling after moons and moons of time.

Her ears caught the impact of a body against the ground.  Perking quickly in alarm.  Bounding over without hesitation, sniffing the air softly for any trace of blood.  She had little medical knowledge.  Just the basics of the years.  But she could check for the obvious.  Sightless hues gleaming in thought.

"It's alright," the Dealer murmured, cool voice attempting to be soothing.  "Deep breaths and talk to us.  Does anything feel broken?"

Her tiny paws moved over the familiar path with ease.  Her ears having perked up at the sharp ringing of the bell.  Steadily growing used to the bell being rung with vigor these days.  The young and uncertain voice causing her to pause a few steps away.  No intentions to frighten.

"Aloha," she offered softly.  Curious, her head fell slightly to one side.  Nodding her affirmation of the girl's words.  "This is the Typhoon.  'm Keona, a Dealer here."

"If you want a place to stay, then I would say this is a good place," she agreed, sightless hues blinking in thought.  "Do you have a name?"  Idly her tail twitched.  A polite smile resting on her maw.

The bell certainly rang loudly.  The tiny dealer's ears perked.  Sightless hues blinking.  It was hardly the first time the clang hit the ears so harshly.  But curious.  Trotting after Goldie, the petite wildcat came to a halt, a polite smile on her face as she recognized Winterhymns as an ally.

"Aloha," she offered softly, head dipping in greeting.  "How are the Palm Glades?" She inquired lightly.  They were allies after all, and it would be good to hear the latest news.

Any work within the tavern caught the tiny dealer's attention.  Since she resided in the Sky Parlor, it was often hard to miss the hustle and bustle of paws at work.  She certainly didn't mind.  Unsurprised to hear it was Goldie at the heart of it.  Potluck preprations.  It felt familiar.  It was just the sort of job she'd put her mind to.

"Aloha, Goldie," the petite wildcat called, quickly trotting down the stairs.  Eager to be useful herself, Keona made her way over.  Ears perked in attention.  Curious.  "Anything I can help with?"

She knew she was not much use in the kitchen.  Or as a heavy lifter.  But there was plenty of work to be done.

At the sound of the horn, Keona  came padding into the sea dome.  Tiny paws treading silently.  Her ears perked in respectful attention.  Offering a small nod towards the throne as she took a seat.

-----

Natyli scrambled down to the sea dome, mitch-matched hues bright and curious.  Paws settling into a fidgity seat as she turned her head towards her mother.

The tiny wildcat came to the meetings for the same reason her cousin did.  Information.  As a Dealer, information was important to her.  Being talkative or social... Less so.  But she did value courtesy.  Particularly with allies and neutrals.  Interested in maintaining those ties.

Her ears perked as she padded forward.  Taking her usual seat.  Close to the leaders'.  But never directly besides them.  Not her place.  Lightly, her head tilted towards the sound of Gael's voice.  Sightless sea-green hues flickering in his direction.

"Aloha," she offered him first, softly.  He was the most familiar one present.  Family.  "Has your weather improved any?"  The cold front sounded rough.  Especially given the nature of the Pitt's environment.  Barren.  Save for the jungle, which wasn't built for snow.  But spring was just around the corner.  Keona suspected that meant warmer air currents would solve the Pitt's problem soon enough.

A good thing.  Since her father was staying with them on occasion.  She wanted him safe.  Knew he could handle himself but... It would be nice to hear.

Slowly, her sightless gaze flickered.  Towards Gael's attention.  Winterhymns.  He was not familiar.  The Dealer had been to the Palm Glades.  Just once.  Rhinestonestar's ice skate gathering.  Had spent most of it quietly observing, sitting with Gael.

She dipped her head.  Even if he was just filling in for Rhinestonestar or... Not.  She would be polite.  "I'm Keona."

Independent and private as the tiny wildcat preferred being, the concept of a pet or companion simply did not suit Keona.  Friends she did not mind.  She had a few.  But not many that she often shared her space with.  Only one she would willingly spend entire nights with.  To allow a place in her room to sleep.

When Michael announced Princess' litter, she'd simply been curious.  Preferring to simply check in rather than adopt.  A baby rat simply wasn't for her.  Nor would she probably be very good for a baby rat.  Too distant.  Often not even in the sky parlor.  Doing her rounds and trying to check up on everyone.  Spending her free time besides the ocean.  Keona and a baby anything would not work well.

But it was nice to see Princess' children cared for.  By those who had the commitment for it.  And Vayne happy.  The poor girl had gone through enough.  It was nice to give her a little friend.

"Aloha, Vayne," the petite fae murmured.  Pale hues blinking at the scent of cheese.  Ah.  A little training?  Keona hummed softly in thought.  "If there's anyway I can help, just tell me.  I don't mind." And she was a little curious.

Her cousin's raven companion, Fiachra, had quite a head on his shoulders.  But a stubborn streak too.  He certainly knew a few things.  Just... Didn't always cooperate.  Certainly didn't preform tricks.

Curious, more than eager for a companion.  The tiny wildcat padded over at Michael's call.  Ears perked at the sound of tiny paws.  All the scrambling movement.  They were... Smaller than her.  For now.  Just babies.

Her cousin, Suvi, had a raven companion.  Fiachra.  Independent as he was, he liked to pester her sometimes too.  And his occasional presence was more than enough for her.  Keona liked her space.  Wasn't prone to sharing it so willingly.  With a few exceptions.

Politely, she turned her head towards Michael.  Pale sea-green hues lightly flickering in thought.  "How's Princess?" Uninterested in adopting, Keona decided checking in on the mother would be more proper.  It sounded like she had quite a large litter after all.

The Typhoon / Re: Let's go together, we'll be free || DIROX WEDDING
« on: February 28, 2021, 08:29:12 PM »
Strange, this concept of fuss and formality.  Large celebration for something so... Undefinable yet simple.  Love.  No doubt a relief to finally share.  To finally set in stone.  Officate.  To finally no longer simply anticipate, but put into motion.

A handcrafted wreath adorned the tiny wildcat's head in honor of the occasion.  A small and simple crown of 'ilimas.  The crafter, Salem, at her side.  A relief, for she couldn't help but feel awkward.  Unfamiliar with these stories of romance.  Content and proud to be present, to be witness to something pure and happy, but... Out of place all the same.  Not a romantic by any means.  A passing thought wondering if her father and mother were married in a similar way.  On the shore of someplace they loved...

Idly, her paw adjusted the seashell necklace sitting on her chest, throwing an unusually shy smile at her friend and companion.  She wasn't very good at weddings.

----

Strange.  Her mother and Diya had been engaged for some time now.  The wedding an event of mounting anticipation.  Hope for a good, fresh start.  The growing family made official through bonds of word.  A celebration.

The growing draconic jaguar put on her best for the occasion.  Small tropical flowers braided into well-groomed fur.  Lavender and pink bow drapped around her neck, matching the colors of her eyes.

Practically vibrating even as she took her seat.  Never good at remaining still, the youth certainly never attended a wedding before.  Ears perked.  Mitch-matched hues flickering around.  Fidgety.

The issue of the 'cursed' land certainly made Morrison's arrival interesting but... Well.  The tiny wildcat didn't entirely forgoe the possibility but... She respected the story.  Just enough to nod slightly as Michael mentioned it.

But she didn't entirely mind Morrison's amusement of the matter.  He was a sailor.  A captain, evidentally.  One peice of cursed land wasn't all that intimidaitng in comparison to the ocean.  Truly.  Little compared to the ocean.

So she remained quiet on the issue.  Listening to the wolf as he stated his purpose.  Noting his overall bright demeanor.  Very easygoing nature, from what she could tell.  Polite greetings.  He didn't seem so bad, though she wondered why the mention of Pendragon... The name was familiar... Was it... Sophiea's last name?  Strange.  Her tail twitched behind her, sightless hues flickering in thought.

"Keona," she offered after a moment, reitering Michael's statement of her name.  Usually she could care less for darlings and the like, but Morrison clearly spoke formally.  No harm or demeaning nature to it.  And nodded as he concluded explaining his buisness.

"So long as you're willing to help out," and it seemed like he was, "you're more than welcome.  There's plenty of places to stay here."

"But if I can ask," she'd add politely, "are you a friend of the Pendragons?" While he seemed to bear no ill intentions, the fae wanted to be sure.  Morrison was still a stranger.  Sophiea wasn't.  Sophiea was close to Goldie.  An ally of the Typhoon.  It was better to be safe than sorry.

Like her younger brother, the tiny wildcat made it her buisness to at least know the names of all her crewmates.  To recognize their voices.  To know about them.  Despite her socially oriented position, she did it more for the logistical purposes than friendliness.  It was important information.

"Aloha.  Welcome back," the petite dealer called softly, tail twitching as she padded over.  "'m Keona; a dealer here, if you don't remember."  Quietly, she hummed in agreement as the others spoke, offering assistance as needed, nodding.  Roan and Goldie would have it well handled, if the wolf was injured.

"The tavern's always open with places to rest, as well."

A howl was a familiar sound to the tiny wildcat.  Many of her family could shapeshift into dire wolves after all.  But she knew this howl didn't belong to anyone she knew.  Not family.  Nor was it Danny's puppy howl.  Maybe the lost boy's mother... But no.

The voice was distinctly masculine.  Awfully peppy too.  Eager.  Or impatient.  Her ears flicked.  Tail twitching behind her as the petite dealer approached.  Pale sea-green hues steadily bouncing towards the voice's origin.  "Aloha," she offered her soft voice in a response to the canine's search for residents.

"May I have your name and buisness with the Typhoon?"

The tiny wildcat narrowed her eyes, tail flicking as she arrived on scene.  Distracted by Inferno.  Offering Rhinestone a brief but respectful nod before speaking to the youth.  Tone icy.  "Then you will learn a new skill."

"What you said was inappropriate and can make someone uncomfortable," she reiterated. Honestly.  Aphra was horrible but she was gone now.  "Apologize.  Then do as Roxanne said.  Because it wasn't a suggestion, Inferno, it was an order."

The dealer was not afraid to enforce it if she had to, pale sea-green hues sharp.

Blind from birth with sharp ears, the fae didn't entirely miss the discreet rustle of cloth.  Made no show of curiousity or suspicion.  It wasn't her buisness.  Seemed like he crashed after all.  She didn't know what all lie in the wreckage.  Sentiment and the like.

Keona flicked her tail.  Snarky.  Odd name.  But he was a pirate.  Like them.  Nothing was really odd with pirates.  "You'll fit in then.  Typhoon's a crew of pirates.

"'m Keona.  Me 'an Michael are dealers here," she explained, tilting her head lightly in Michael's direction.  "You can talk to us if you need anythin'.  Aside from mending; you'll want my brother."

The clear ring is quick to gather the tiny wildcat's attention.  Ears perked attentively.  Catching the stranger's voice as she trotted through the jungle.  Unfamiliar.  Her tail twitched as she came to a halt, tilting her head upwards.  Pale sea-green hues flickering idly towards the sound.

"Aloha," she offered softly.  Polite.  He carried no identifiable scent with him.  A joiner then.  Or simple traveler.  Trader.  They had those occasionally.  But she suspected he to more likely be an aspiring crewmate than anything else.

"This is the Typhoon.  'm Keona, a dealer here.  Can we help you?"
